Mcquaide Arvostelua 

This is my third McQuaide watch. I started with the McQuaide Q1 in Obsidian & within a day of ownership I was back on the website to order the same watch in Crimson - it was/is that good so when I realised the Cosmopolitan C1 was in the making I placed my Pre-Order & to say I'm delighted with it can only be described as an understatement - It's absolutely fantastic & has been on my wrist since it arrived, I honestly can't talk more highly or recommend the Cosmopolitan or for that matter the Q1 more.

Incredible customer service from this company, the Damascus steel watchcase is absolutely stunning. I do agree in line with one or two other comments. I’ve heard that it would be great if all the indices including the numerals were applied or if they could have made the numerals pop a little bit more – they look quite Flat, but it’s a beautiful watch, very comfortable, keeping good time, no regrets and I thoroughly recommend, I have it in Read which is a gorgeous bright red, it looks good in all the other colours to me as well

I just received my new McQuaide Cosmopolitan watch this morning and an completely over the moon with it. I did have an issue with DHL deliver who seemed to have played rugby with the parcel and so I contacted McQuaide about some damage to the box. No only was their website Web-bot super helpful it enabled me to interact with Rob who's going to get replacement packaging out. Not McQuaide's fault but the way it's all been a great experience makes we want to share and buy when their next iconic timepiece comes out.
I purchased the watch after meeting Rob at a watch event and was really impressed with the brand, it's identity and the quality of what they are producing. I also love the small but important touch of getting a 'passport' for your watch as each damascus steel watch is different it means everyone gets something a little unique, and that's on top of a quality british assembled timepiece!!

Rob is the best. His interest in making sure his customers get what they want is very apparent.
I can’t wait to buy another watch from him. No one else makes what he does. They are all one of a kind timepieces.

The watch is very nice, but could be better if the clasp was Damascus as well as the case, as the Oceaneva Damascus watches have, I have both, the McQuaide is better but £200 dearer.
A Damascus strap would lift the watch to a must have but I suspect the cost would be prohibitive.
Customer service was excellent.

Mcquaide Q1 Abyss
At this price point, it genuinely doesn’t get any better. I feel like I’ve just received the buy of the century. I went for the blue face with the blue strap and it’s absolutely stunning. It wears beautifully, and I can already see this becoming my daily — it’s a proud addition to the collection.

Service was impeccable, UK delivery was lightning fast, and I had the watch in my hands within 38 hours of ordering. Quality, design, service — full marks across the board. Tudor-level quality at a fraction of the cost.

Extremely happy with the overall service and quality of the watch. Communication was great and received my watch in less than a week from the UK to the US. Waited till World Time Uk to see the Q1 on the wrist and was very impressed not only with the watch, which wears really well, but with Rob's knowledge and vision. After the show my son convinced me to by him the Obsidian which Rob kindly send photos of each individual Damacus pattern for him to choose.

A stunner of a watch and an outstanding retail experience! The Q1 is a unique proposition in terms of craft, design, exclusivity and quality. All reviews set high expectations but both the watch and the buying experience far surpassed and anticipation.

A simply stunning Watch!!!!!

What can I say about this watch that isn’t obvious? This unique timepiece is robust, durable, ergonomic, and a treat for the eyes every time I admire the Damascus material.

I’ve taken it paddle boarding, sea swimming, mountain biking, and worn it as my everyday watch in an industrial environment. It hasn’t let me down in any way and still looks as good as the day I unboxed it—which came with every extravagance: a soft outer sleeve, a cushion-filled box, and a maintenance pack included.

What makes it even more special is that I was lucky enough to get a serial number that matches the birth of my twin babies—a detail that makes this watch truly one of a kind for me.

I can’t wait to see what McQuaide brings to the table next. I’ll definitely be expanding my collection with the next iteration.
