On pricing, we understand it can stand out at first glance. We’ve deliberately chosen to focus on quality, ease of use, and long-term reliability rather than competing on being the cheapest option.
In our experience, most customers end up valuing how smoothly everything works and not having to deal with issues later on. It’s one of those things that tends to make more sense over time once it’s in use.
Appreciate you sharing your perspective.
Wilhelm went the extra 100 miles
Have to publicly apologize to him. I wasn’t a nice guy. Texted him rudely to say the least.
Really embarrassed about that Wilhelm, I’m sorry.
With that said, he was patient, showed amazing customer service skills. Even better technical skills and while showing me the program has done no harm to my car, even accessed hard to edit levels with ease.
In the end went to the shop, counterfeit spark plugs bought on eBay (1000+ 5star seller)were to blame.
Can’t wait to use MBTools again. Already got plans to virginize and AMG speedometer and be back to review again.
Sure that customer support is outstanding, responsive, committed to customer success.
Just have to point out that noobs (like me) should take care on what we’re doing.
Finally: free stuff has no official support. I suggest MBTools to charge per VIN or transaction. You deserve it.

Purchased a anti-theft PIN for my head-unit after replacing it, had some issues accessing Vediamo files and received assistance from MBTool operator and managed to sort it out quickly. Thank you for your help again🙏

Tool/software works great and easy to use. Payment was extra easy and many options how to pay. But one time Credit feels a bit expensive (cluster virgin).
But I will definitely continue to use this tool when needed !

As for the pricing: it’s a bit like choosing to drive a Mercedes instead of a standard car. Both get you from A to B, but one comes with a smoother ride, extra features, and a bit more horsepower under the hood. MBTools aims to be that experience for your workflow.
That said, we’re always working to make sure the value matches (or exceeds!) the price. Thanks again for the 4 stars - we’ll keep pushing for that 5th one.

Great solution for a modest price.
The quality of the software and experience with the people that run the company. I wanted to code AMG menu to my car, and had looked at several options that were expensive, and required programming skill. MBTools gave me what I needed in a GUI push button environment. It literally took less than 30 seconds from selection, to writing and booting the cluster to give me exactly what I wanted.
The team at MBTools answered my questions over WhatsApp very quickly. Both Ross and Wilhelm were amazing to work with. I am going to use their services again.
