The two trainings our charity had with Maudsley Learning were really well ran. We found them extremely helpful learning for us. The trainers were knowledgeable, relatable and understanding. In the simulation training the simulation was very realistic and the actor did an incredible job. We were all impressed by the trainers, the simulation and the actor’s abilities. The Maudsley team took on everything we had mentioned and were very well informed about the work we do, which made the training much more tailored towards our work. This made it extremely helpful for us.

The training was very interactive, and the trainer did provide advance explanation through out the learning session.

I was happy to receive immediate confirmation on my order. Although the order took awhile to be delivered. I emailed for an update and I received a prompt reply with an apology about the delay due to staff working from home because of Covid-19.
Overall good communication and update.

Very good overview of all the things we should be looking out for and also how to influence mental health with diet. I think it really puts things into perspective

Communication with Maudsley staff for queries regarding the training was appalling.
There was no reply to my emails and no one to answer the listed telephone call.
The training itself was good, though sessions on expectations of a social worker was not needed
More emphasis could also have been given to case studies and scenarios
The theory reading was very onerous too

The discussions were good but quite generic. Would’ve liked more of under 18 case discussions for MHA & the tricky situations encountered

Thorough course and really well delivered- the interactive format really helped the learning process. Quality of the e-learning packages is excellent and I will be using them for reference in the future.

On the first day, we had a 2 hour period to just read material related to course content. At £225 a day, I felt this was not justifiable
