Claire at Maths Positive has been absolutely amazing during my daughter’s maths lessons.

She created a calm, low-demand environment and adapted each lesson to my daughter’s energy and needs on the day. This made such a difference, especially as my daughter needed time to feel safe and rebuild trust following a very difficult period.

Claire took the time to build a genuinely positive and trusting relationship, rather than rushing straight into academic work. Her patience, warmth and flexibility helped my daughter engage in a way that felt manageable and respectful.

Our daughter benefited greatly from Claire's patient and kind support. I cannot recommend Maths Positive highly enough, as Claire nurtures students of all abilities. The sessions were instrumental in helping her tackle the difficult questions on her GCSE maths papers, which she had previously shied away from. This increased confidence showed on exam days. There was no fear. She completed her exam papers quicker and more methodically.

I am so glad I found Claire to support my 3 home educated daughters in their maths journey - her calm and gentle encouragement has literally transformed the way they feel about maths. They all appreciate her kind and accepting ways - no pressure for mics and cameras to be on means they can communicate in the way they feel most comfortable, and that safety means they feel most open to learn. They have all come on in leaps and bounds since we started working with Claire. They are all working at different levels and Claire seems to know intuitively how much to push/encourage each of them. I love hearing them say now that they enjoy maths and are good at it - they were all left with burnout after school but they have built back their confidence bit by bit with Claire. I really can't recommend her enough.
