The entire experience has given me back so much of myself.
All the staff were compassionate, empathetic and genuinely lovely ladies. I was made to feel comfortable so much faster than I thought I would.

After a horrible year so far personally, this boudoir experience has helped me see myself as a woman again and given me a desperately needed confidence boost. I can't express my gratitude to Steph and Charlotte enough for making that day so fantastic.

If you are unsure about doing it; it is completely private, women only and if you get Charlotte, she was amazing and brought out genuine smiles from me. And the photos where beautiful. Please give it a try. I found it so deeply empowering and the worst thing that can happen is that you don't like it. And thats ok. I didnt much like the "50 shades" bit, but I tried it and some of those were my favourite ones! You dont have to buy anything and the free print is a decent size.

I will be back with some lady friends who I bought vouchers for, as I want them to feel this good about themselves aswell!

I wanted to feel more confident within myself. I was extremely nervous but the team made me feel really special and after the first few photos I felt amazing.
The results were stunning and I couldn't believe how sexy I looked.

I won a Facebook competition for the boudoir shoot, I never thought I would be chosen. The moment I arrived I was greeted with a huge smile and felt very welcomed. My photographer made me feel at ease straight away. Such a pleasure to have experienced something I never thought I would do. It certainly gave me a huge confidence boost. Thank you

Sophie was amazing with my 7week old and very friendly and easy to talk to the pictures and perfect. Sarah made me feel very welcome when viewing photos and she was very helpful and explained everything. Cant wait for my photos. Thankyou

We had a family portrait done back in June and paid £325 for 4 photos - only digital copies and that was with some special offer at the time. When we agreed to the 4 pictures we were told they would be touched up - there was dead leaves on the ground where we had the photos taken, we were told they would be removed. Extra balls at the side of one picture - we were told they'd be taken out. Our son was really playing up on the day - the photographer was fantastic - but we were told that they could merge two pictures together so that we at least had one picture of us all happy as a family. We were sent the raw pics that day.. and told that once they had touched them up (which took about 8 weeks maybe more) they'd send us the finished product. We waited a long time.. finally they sent them over. They were exactly the same! Not a single touch up, they didn't even get rid of the dead leaves. So I feel like we were really misled. I've only just downloaded the photos now 3 months later as i'm just not interested in doing anything with them. If I could go back we would have got the photos taken elsewhere. The staff have all been great but it's a big case of way over promise and then under deliver.

This was my second photoshoot and it was another excellent experience. Jo was very helpful and professional. She booked me in and gave great advice at the viewing of my pictures. The photographer Charlotte was brilliant! She put me at my ease, very talented and gets the best out of people. I'm delighted with my photos. I'm a vocalist/entertainer and need to have great pictures for publicity. Mark Swinford Photography never disappoints. Well done and many thanks!

Disappointing experience.
Recently had a baby photo shoot and was keen to get a ‘hammock’ photo to replicate the one i got 7 years ago for my son. The photos were poor and this was even echoed by the lead photographer who had written on my notes ‘the hammock’ photos could be better. No offer to retake but an expectation to buy a different image which we ultimately didnt want!
Poor experience, quality and service!!

I had a bump to baby shoot booked that I got for Christmas.
It took months to actually book the shoot as they don't release dates very far in advance.

I wasn't aware that these shoots essentially try and pressure you to buy more photos once you have your 2 hard copies that come included and I found the whole experience really stressful.

I had explicitly told the photographer that I wanted a specific, plain type of photo with no bells and whistles although she insisted I try every pose under the sun in the studio. I just wanted a simple bump photo. The bump photos came out really dark which was a bit disappointing.

The baby photo was really stressful. I took his blanket and said I don't want any of these OTT baby shoots, just a very natural, no props photo with him and his blanket. Again, we were there for ages trying all her ideas. My baby was 3 days old so I was hoping to be in and out.

The viewing appointment was the worst aspect of this experience. The woman was kind but she went hard to try and get us to buy stuff to the point it was so uncomfortable. After seeing the prices, me and my partner insisted we would stick to our guns and just get the photos included in the package. My partner stayed out of the appointment with our baby and the lady could not fathom this and insisted he came in and see the photos and said it's unusual that he doesn't want to see them. The reason was we didn't want to be forced into buying them. I explained at the beginning that I'm on maternity leave and cannot afford in excess of 200 pound for photos. She would not accept this and kept telling me about deals and trying to pluck at my heart strings. I found this level of hard selling so unbelievably uncomfortable and ended up buying 4 photos.

At the end, she made me do a trust pilot review of the studio in her presence whilst she sat there and then passed me the card machine. When I was distracted by paying she then asked me to continue writing my review. I have since deleted that review so that I could write an honest, unsupervised review.

When the digital images finally came, they were terrible. It was so upsetting. I had to send them back 3 times until they were acceptable as they had baby vomit, urine nappy lines and the photographers body in his eyes. It made me just hate the final photos as the whole thing was so stressful and disheartening.

I get really negative comments from my nearest and dearest about the final pictures and how unprofessional they look which is such a shame. I have got better photos of him on my iphone.

I certainly wouldn't recommend this place for baby photos but maybe they are better at other types of photos.

Boudoir photo shoot. I really recommend this company and all the staff. Once I had an appointment, I received a some emails to explain a few things and closer to the day I got a call from Charlotte, who would take the pictures, for a chat, some outfit ideas and any questions I may have had. On the day I was greeted by Charlotte and shown the way to get my hair & make up done. Fatima was super friendly and bubbly, so I felt much more at ease. The make up & hair was beautifully done, matching me very well. After that I was shown the studio sets and Charlotte had a look at my outfits and props. After a little chat i got changed and time just flew by. I couldn't believe how relaxed and how much fun it was. Charlotte really knows how to deal with nerves and how to make you feel good. Once I was dressed in my normal clothes again, we made an appointment to view the pictures. When I went back to see them I just couldn't believe my eyes. Absolutely stunning pictures, shown in a film on a big wall screen. I'll never forget that moment! I'm so glad I did this and I'd like to thank everyone involved xx

I won a competition for a Boudoir experience & boy did they deliver! I was skeptical at first but they made me welcome from the moment i rang the doorbell! I had the pleasure of Charlotte doing my hair & make up & she was so friendly and calmed my nerves and make me look great! I then had Charlotte doing the shoot! So professional and knows her stuff! I managed to get a preview a few hours later & wow the raw photos were amazing! Certainly an experience I will not forget! Can not thank Charlotte enough for making me feel confident & sexy!

Charlotte was absolutely fantastic for our photo shoot and really knew how to keep our little boy focused, entertained and smiling. Poses created some really lovely shots. Viewing with Sarah was great aswell, good opinions helped us pick the best photos and a good discussion around what we wanted from the final package meant we have some great memories to take away.

I won a boudoir shoot through a competition. I was very nervous before I went but Charlotte my photographer made me feel so comfortable and completely at ease. I left the studio feeling amazing about myself.

When I went to view the photos I thought I looked amazing in them, to the point me and my husband agreed it was well worth the money for the package of photos we got!

I highly recommend coming here for a boudoir photo shoot, I also highly recommend one to boost yourself confidence even if you can’t afford the pictures afterwards.

Ok so I won a photo shoot. I arrived and was more nervous than I thought I would be.
Well all my nerves disappeared while I was having my hair and makeup done and then the photo shoot was fantastic I was made to feel amazing. I can’t thank you all enough.

The staff are lovely. The environment is a lovely place to be in. They made me feel very at home, comfortable and confident throughout the whole experience. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Charlottle was absolutely amazing! I was super apprehensive and was going to cancel. But after a really understanding chat with Charlottle I came to the shoot. The makeup artist did my makeup perfectly. Was the perfect colour for my skin tone as I am pale.
Not long into the shoot I felt really comfortable with Charlottle and if I was ever to do it again I would want to see Charlottle again. We had a good laugh while doing the photos talking about our common interests. Thank you so much for my stunning photos Charlottle x

This was the first time I have ever done anything like this - but even from the first call, the team were incredibly professional and relaxed me immensely. When I turned up, I was greeted and shown upstairs to have my make up done. She knew exactly what make up goes best with my skin and did an incredible job making me not only look good but very feminine too (no easy task, believe me!). Once ready - I went into the photography room. Even when getting changed into clothes that I never wear - I felt relaxed from the outset (and I didn’t even need any Prosecco!). The shoot flew by - but we had a great laugh! I’ve just been to see my photos - fully intending not to buy many - but they were all so incredible, I had to purchase a lot more. But I do not regret this - it’s a memory of a lifetime. Thank you a million!

Had a boudior shoot with Charlotte, I had an absolutely fantastic time she made me feel very relaxed and calm. The whole team were so welcoming and made me feel so relaxed.
