They are sneaky and are scam artists. Their clothes are a piece of garbage They agreed to give me a coupon for the amt of the clothes I had purchased because I was so dissatisfied with my purchase. . So I used the coupon but never received the clothes. The items I had originally ordered were nothing like the pictures on the site. SCAM!!!

I recently saw the going out of business post from Maple Boutique and the prices of the shoes seemed like good value for what appeared to be good quality. The boots were described as ‘pebble leather’ and premium leather, it claimed to be a Canadian company and the story of going out of business due to retirement was compelling. I ordered four pairs of shoes , spending over $200 and what I received was shocking! If I had paid an unreduced price for the items it would have claimed a value of $909.80 according to the prices displayed on the website. In reality the shoes were NOT leather but some kind of plastic. They came in ziplock bags just like the bags that come from TEMU and of the same quality. Unlike TEMU returns are not free and when I took my packages to Canada Post ( they came in two bags) the cost of mailing to the Chinese address I was given for returns, for each package was just over $84 and that did not provide tracking! Since the net refund would end up being only $40, and that is IF the package arrived without tracking to prove it was sent, I had no option but to cut my loss and take it as a lesson! I did want to at least warn others so hopefully someone else won’t be scammed by this ‘boutique’. I feel like a fool! 😡

Horrible company horrible quality of clothing. To think the regular price was almost 300 I paid 79 and it wasn’t worth $10. DO NOT DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. AND THEY ASVERTISE AS CANADIAN. THEY ARE NOT. SHAME IN THEM!!!!

Horrible scam!! Terrible product, nothing like the website advertises. Filed a dispute and they claim it's as pictured. The item was shipped from China not Canada. Piece of crap company!

Fell for it too. Thought they were a Canadian company in Quebec. The one time I don't read reviews first before ordering. The outfit I bought was suppose to be jogging fleece, nope, 100% polyester. Very disappointed. Clothing comes from China even though their site says shipped from Canada. Also disappointed with Facebook that they allow these scam artists to advertise on their platform.

The ankle boots I received were not the same as the ones in the pictures on their website. They are clearly of lesser quality.
They claim they have a 4+ star rating on Trust Pilot. As well they claim they have a 30 day money back guarantee...That is not true, they tell you to send it back to the manufacturer but it will cost $40 or $50 to do that. That is not a money back guarantee. This company are complete scammers. Don't buy anything from them.

1. I thought I was supporting a Montreal-based company. I was not. They went so far as to post pictures of a “store front”, which shows items on sale signs etc. COMPLETE LIE
2. I immediately knew I had been scammed and the returns process would not be easy. This is another reason I ordered from here. I thought it was Canadian. Remember…it is not.
3. The beautiful clothes I ordered on line, were just CHEAP pieces of junk. That beautiful soft sweater, was both stiff and brittle. And yet, their prices did not reflect this.
4. Then I started the return process. Different side of the world, different hours and, of course, their endless offers. Keep the clothes, we will give you 20% back. We are so concerned for you having to pay the shipping costs. We are concerned about the environment. On and on.
5. After demanding their address, making it very clear I had no problem paying for the shipping costs over and over again, they finally gave it to me.
6. They have my returned product and yet my credit card has not been reimbursed. I placed the order on February 18, 2025. That’s how long this has been going on.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD.

I waited over 6 weeks for my order, I to thought I was supporting a business in Montreal, cheap Chinese quality clothing that are sized extremely small, have still not heard from them regarding a return even though I followed their protocol for returns!!! A picture of items, order # etc!!
Overpriced even at supposed sale prices, have better experience with Temu 😡😡do not order from them, I too wished I’d read the reviews

Do not order from their site. They claimed to be a family store in Montreal that’s closing down after many years. I bought from them to support a local business but it’s not local it a complete lie, this is not a store . Their clothing comes from China. Impossible to reach their personnel to return item.

I received the package a moth later and they are poor products are very poor quality, I tried contacting them for a refund and they do not respond properly and now I received an email saying they can give me 20% off.

I wish i had seen this review earlier. I bought 3 pieces of outfits and they all cheaply made and the material is man-made polyester!! all the reviews on their website are bogus!!
Not only that, first time i called, they even tried to tell me that I didn't order from their website. After a few email exchange they told me to return them to an address in China!! They are definitely NOT from Montreal or anywhere North America! They are from CHINA!!!
I have involved the bank to dispute the transaction as SCAM!!

Total Scam!!! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Maple Montreal is NOT closing. And the product you receive is a very cheap knock off, sent from China! There was a sweater I had been wanting for over a year and saw it on sale, with the 'Store Closing' ad. I ended up buying the sweater for $80, which is more than I am interested in paying for a sweater. Tracking showed it coming from China, and when it finally showed up was a total cheap knock off! Then trying to return it is a total run around.

Do not buy from this site. I thought it was a Canadian company. They will rip you off. The clothes that come are very very low quality.

I wish I read all of this information before I got ripped off for a sweater that was for sale on Temu for $22 that they sold for 89…….. Now I’m getting the runaround being told I have to ship it back to China at least Temu gives you a shipping label to send it back at no expense. Brutal… they should be charged if they don’t look after my concerns I think I’ll talk to my civil litigator husband and take them to small claims court for the sake of all of us who’ve been scammed.

I'm embarrassed to say that this "luxury", going out of business (scam) dooped me! I thought I did my due-diligence, and I wanted to support Canadian, and THAT'S what these scammers took advantage of!!! I'm so mad! I would donate this garbage but I doubt even the homeless would wear it. Nothing on their website is real, it was designed by AI. If and when your shipment does arrive, it's appalling...doesn't even rate. If I could share photos, I would. It arrived in a plastic bag. Luxury clothing - ha!!! Good news is my CC company has reimbursed me my $600, thank God! I'm getting in my car to physically support local "luxury" clothing stores that I know! PLEASE, don't get sucked in like me.

I’m scammed. Products arrived after 1 month and they are so cheap quality I can’t even wear! I spent over $300! How can i get my money back? Omg !!’ A fancy website with all fake pictures and descriptions! It’s a lie.

Sure this is a scam. Phony tracking info. Instead of coming from Canadian store, it ends up probably being cheap crap from China. I will ask Mastercard to get money back. Do not buy from them!

5 inquiries, no tracking information, 3 weeks since order was placed. Have yet to receive my order.

This is Asian originated lowest quality products that are sold in Canada by making a fancy website with very attractive pictures. But all is nonsense to lure the consumers. Price is very high, lowered with discounts to make it more tempting.
