The website where anyone can make anything printable is a lie, most of the items made by people who are into this site dont really have a clue how to model or ensure prints go well, as everything I have printed from here has been horrible 90% of the time. Idiotic people run this site its just the cold, harsh truth.

useless website not letting you download anything, even if you never stepped foor on their website before. they lie to you, saying they do, but as soon as you click anything supposedly free, they try to force you to surrender all your private info for no reasons. worst poorly coded website ever, I would NEVER trust anything from such a crappy company

They pick artists to come on to the platform and give them the whole golden goose treatment, while the rest of us have to spend hundreds of hours working for scraps.

I’ve tried several platforms for 3D creators, and MakerWorld is the one I decided to stay with.
Creators are clearly valued here, feedback is encouraged, and the platform is actively improving.

As a designer, it feels good to publish work on a platform that actually supports creators instead of ignoring them.
So far, a very positive experience.

garbage site that forces you to make an acc to download more than 5 stl's

Terrible and unspeakable support service for a company of this size. They promise points and gift cards, ask you to leave another platform with an exclusive program and after months, you have earned points... they remove your models and points and do not respond to appeal tickets.

An user on Makerworld took an image owned by me without my permission. This same user took images from other creators and claims they are his creations. He even boasts about how he created them and 'not having any inspiration' for new ones. This is called a copyright violation. But despite giving evidence this is not this users property, Makerworld won't take action. This site claims the user didn't breach their policy. But he actually did and he breached the policy of the website he took the images from. This site is seedy, had no respect for other peoples' work and properties. The people on there are liars, thieves and narcissists.

Appears to have little respect for GDPR, told me I can't shut my account down and refused to unsubscribe me from spam emails until I sent a GDPR Right to be Forgotten request. Even then, they were being dubious and said "We have deleted *some* of your personal data" but refused to reveal what data they still held. Just delete my account man.
