Hi bought 2 items, 1 on preorder 1 not.
It's been several months since I placed my order I have emailed and messaged instagram to only get very poor replies.The confusing bit is being told it's been sent when it hadn't after I asked for a shipping number then again weeks later to be told I missed out on that round of restocking yet it says online it's available so how is it available online but not for me to be sent what I bought?! Then to be told they'd send me 1 item in another size because I needed the item for my birthday event and didn't do that either... so had to go buy something from another company that arrived in 3 days.
I have several mahli pieces but after this I doubt I'll order again considering the poor service for such a high end priced item atleast competitors reply appropriately, keep you updated about delays instead of having to message them yourself.

Do NOT deal with this company. I thought it was suss that there was no where you could leave a review other than here. Red Flag. I placed an order on May 12th for a pre-order product. 2 months later and the only emails were ‘we’ve had a delay in production’. Then only generated emails or ‘were sorry for the delay’ Fast forward 3 MONTHS and I put through a refund form which the have stalled and stalled.
Trying to get a reply is like pulling teeth. There are some serious structural issues within this company (if you can even call it a ‘company’)
Don’t waste your money. They are dishonest and sneaky. I would trust buying from Shien or Wish more!
BTW still no refund. I had to put in a complaint to NSW fair training because I paid directly with my card.

EDIT: I have not received any further communication or any refund as the owner’s reply states below. I would be very welcoming and grateful to a refund. The reason I am unhappy with the boots is because they have glue marks/smudges and scuffs on them. A brand new, made to order pair of boots at a premium price should not have glue marks, smudges and scuffs on them. It is not subjective. The product provided is not the highest quality that could possibly be produced.

Paying a premium price you’d expect a premium product and exceptional customer service. Despite being told it would be 30-50 business days, I did not receive my boots for six months. The only updates I received were the ones I chased. They were not fourth coming to tell me that there were delays. Twice I was told that they were being shipped to me only to be told three weeks later they were still in production. I finally received the product in August after ordering in February and I’m so disappointed. There’s glue marks and scuff marks in the leather which they’ve tried to cover, the toe and heel pieces aren’t pressed down properly and there is a black sticky mark on the inner sole. I’m devastated after waiting so long to have a pair of boots that have glue and scuffs all over them, PLUS they were shipped in a postage box…. No dust bags, no shoe box, no directions for how to care for and store and clean.
I feel really frustrated and upset. I’ve seen other reviews posted here where the owner replied saying they’ve refunded customers and they can keep the product. I can only hope she does the same for me - even a partial refund. I emailed Bec and expressed my sadness and haven’t heard back. What a let down.

Like other people, I found them off insta but a few weeks after I placed my order still no shipping notification. They claimed my order was a pre-order but i didnt see anything like that when i checked out. Then I googled them and saw all the reviews of people who three months out did not receive their packages. I went into defense mode and emailed them. They reassured me they werent a scam but my guard was up. I asked them to cancel my order and they readily agreed and continued to follow up but never did. I opened a claim in paypal and ultimately was refunded by paypal. They claimed they werent a scam but they are.

Would not recommend shopping with this company. I ordered a jumpsuit and was told they were delays getting the stock which is fine. After a month i got tired of waiting and wanted a refund. It has now been nearly four months since i placed the order and still have not received the refund. I have never had any experience like it. Very disappointed.

Worst company I have ever dealt
with , ordered their ART Boots on 9/2/23 never to arrive ! After numeous Emails & told they were in there way , I eventually cancelled my order in June ! I then requested a refund !
Nearly a month later & still getting the run around via email with all the excuses of email backlogs !
Happy to take your money, but reluctant to honour a refund for non supply of goods in a timely manner .
Very poor business practice !

My dress took a little longer than normal, however I knew that when I bought the dress because each garment is carefully made to order to avoid waste which I’m SO supportive of. Fashion textiles is one of the biggest contributors to landfill so we need more labels like Mahli Label to jump on board and help guide the way forward in ethical fashion.

When speaking to customer service about the order, Bec went above and beyond to give me updates and was so responsive, kind and helpful. Really appreciate her efforts for me it made me feel appreciated also.

Not to mention my dress is a dream and so worth the little wait, I’ve already ordered another one and so excited to receive it! Happy to support labels that take care in their workers, customers and the environment.

I have been waiting for a refund from this company for two months… every time I reach out to see what is happening and why it is taking so long I get vague responses like “we are working on your refund” or “we will check on it and get back to you as soon as possible”. It doesn’t take 2 months to process a refund. It’s been a week since the last time they sent me one of these, I’ve given up and filed a PayPal dispute. It’s a shame because the clothes are lovely but I won’t be buying from these guys again.

I absolutely have not received any gift card for the item I cancelled, the only one received was for an item I returned.
You sent two emails to me AFTER reading this review, you were not trying to contact me as your reply suggests.
Your email stated “I can refund this through PayPal” - upon replying to that I received an automated message saying you are on maternity leave and to contact Jenny, the employee that has been incredibly unhelpful this entire time.
And I STILL have not received my refund.

I would give this company no stars if I could. Waited for months ( over 6 months ) for an item - it never came. Requested a refund - no replies to my request just a generic e mail which didn’t address the issue.
These people are scammers. They take your money and you’re left with no item and no money 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩

I purchased 2x products in may. Have not received either, and have also been met with vague communication from the company. And that is when I’ve been lucky enough to receive a response. I have asked for a refund however this just gets ignored and I have repeatedly been told that I’ll get an update when they are aware of the ETA of my items and thanked for my patience. I checked reviews to see if others have had the same experience and unfortunately noticed a bunch of reviews of others who have been scammed. Please do not believe the positive reviews on here - if you look closely they are all dated differently yet posted on the same day as a response to several poor reviews. Quite obviously the brand are responsible for writing these. I wish they had time to reply to emails rather than write false positive reviews. Give me back my money mahli.

This business doesn’t even deserve one star. I purchased a dress in May to wear for my birthday in June. It’s now the 28th of July and I’m yet to have my dress or a refund. They have stolen my money and I don’t like my chances of recovering it.

Every email enquiry is met with a pathetic excuse response. Beware!!!

Omgosh Fantastic products. I bought a pair of shoes for my mum and she is absolutely besotted with them. So happy with the materials and details incredibly. As I've bought several times before I will happily be coming back to Mahli the label in the future. Thank yall so much!!!!
