Each chat is going to cost you two credits a minute. Each letter will cost you 10 credits just to open it. If they've attached pictures the first one is free the second one cost you 10 credits and to reply with a letter will cost you 30 credits. As a result you can see this gets expensive and it's like a vacuum sucking money out of your wallet!

Furthermore even if you get to the point where you request the woman's contact information. You first have to get to 5,000 credits and it costs 500 credits just to ask for the form at that point. So that's where the $1,375 comes from.
And after you've spent all of this time she can still say no. So you've just wasted a bunch of money a time and resources on something that is worthless. ergo the reason why I say this is nothing more than a slot machine.

Actually got into an argument with customer service who pointed out that all of the women on the site use the site "for free." While men have to pay just to chat, read emails, open a picture etc in other words you cough up the coins they get to use it for free.

Magnoliadate is a FAKE Platform as a user I can confirm this. Outside of the costs that you waste on the site it is full of bots and profiles are all FAKE, you will receive replies to messages that you send 24hrs a day meaning that your conversations are being answered by a Bot or AI generated.
The ladies don't sleep on this site and are always ONLINE.
If you look closely at profile pictures of the ladies you will see that some of the pictures that they have posted have tattoos or facial marks not consistent to others, watches on different arms and so on. Videos posted to keep you interested but of different people as no face is shown.
If you go full on and waste 5000 credits on a profile to obtain personal contact details you will then be given a contact email which is also contained within the platform but on a mailme domain owned by the platform.
Again FAKE conversation.
Multiple conversation is also blocked as its all FAKE and cant communicate normally.
Just another Bot and no chance of any relationship with anyone unless you want to date a computer.
This MagnoliaDate site is a total SCAM and THERE IS NOTHING positive at ALL to review and should be reported and SHUTDOWN

This isn't a dating site at all. Don't waste your time or money as everything that is shared to make contact with anyone is blocked. The ladies are very happy to show you every bit of themselves to keep you spending money to open up the pictures.

MagnoliaDate presents itself as a legitimate dating platform, but in reality it operates on what I can only describe as a deliberately exploitative credit-based system designed to drain money while preventing any genuine connection.
You are initially given 20 free credits, which sounds reasonable until you realise how quickly they disappear. Each single message costs 2 credits, and sending a “letter” costs 10 credits. Once those are gone, you are forced to purchase more credits just to continue basic communication.
Here’s where it becomes blatantly manipulative.
You are not allowed to exchange contact details with anyone under normal circumstances. The platform locks this behind an absurd paywall:
You must chat continuously for 15 days,
Spend 5,000 credits,
Then purchase an additional 500 credits,
before you are finally “allowed” to exchange details.
To put this into perspective:
1,000 credits cost $383.
Do the maths yourself.
This means you are being pushed to spend thousands of dollars simply to move a conversation off the platform — something that is free and natural on legitimate dating sites. This is not about safety or quality control; it is about maximising spend and keeping users trapped inside the system.
Account deletion is another serious issue. When you request your account to be deleted, the company claims it will be done within 7 days. In reality, the account is never deleted. Requests are ignored, profiles remain active, and there is no transparency or confirmation that your data has actually been removed. That alone should raise major red flags.
On top of all this, a significant number of profiles appear highly questionable. Many images look AI-generated or heavily manipulated, and interactions feel scripted and artificial. Whether these profiles are automated, moderated, or intentionally misleading, the result is the same: users are encouraged to keep spending credits on conversations that do not feel authentic.
