Decent price, great service, and very helpfull.

I decided to add an exterior DAC to my hi-fi system, not to stream but to hook up to my Moon Audio 260D CD player and by-pass it's DAC.

Didn't know where to start but consulted a hi-fi savvy and knowledgeable friend. He recommended the Holo Audio Cyan 2 as he already has the Holo Spring model.
Duly ordered online and the ordering process was simple, as was dealing with the Import Duty as the product is shipped from EU.
Delivery took only a few days and it came very securely packed. My knowledgeable pal took care of the installation and I was set to go.

Instructions were to allow 250 hours run-in time to achieve peak performance, so patience was required. Kept it hooked up to the CD player on repeat for 15 hours a day mostly without amplification but it was interesting to monitor the improvements from time to time.
End result is a sound that I would never have thought possible via a digital source (my CD player). I'm so impressed that I have temporarily suspended playing vinyl.
The sound is now way more dynamic, detailed and warm than previously, which results in hearing some familiar albums with much more involvement.

I get the impression that Magna Hi-Fi and their founders Rob and Jos, genuinely care about their products and customer satisfaction. Rare in these times.

I purchased from MagnaHifi a Dac from manufacturer Audio Gd new model R1mk3 and i'm very satisfied with how well is packed(double carton box).Only slightly one mistake that they made is with color of the dac,they send black one instead of silver what i ordered but i don't mind that because i'm satisfied with the sound of the dac and i wanted silver only to match the color of my other components.That's why Magna, in the future, be more careful and watch what customers write in their orders, i.e. what color they order.

Magna Hifi provides a customer experience on highest level. Communication and service at its absolutely best.
The two devices I bought needed long time to burn in and still do.

Sound is already above my expectation.
