I recommend MageComp because they do what they promise. Where other companies failed and indicated that they could not perform the desired upgrade, MageComp was able to do so without having to close my webshop. For a webshop owner, it's great that things can continue as usual. MageComp is easily accessible via whatsappe and e-mail and you get expert advice. In my case, a VAT problem was even solved for which I had been looking for a solution for a long time.

This is not the first time I recommend Magecomp extensions to my clients, I had a couple issues with my custom theme and installation that the Magecomp Support team fixed right away, I was on a rush to delivery a project and they did it amazing without questions.

All M2 extensions and M1 extensions work perfectly. I'll be definitely recommend Magecomp over other companies.

A business that takes the extra step of anticipating and providing for an obvious corollary need can generate loyal, repeat customers; and even a humble clerk who is alert to the needs of the customer standing in front of them is sure to advance.

This is regarding: Magento 2 Loan Credit Extension

The customer can easily request for more loan credit directly from their account section. Store admin can see all the customer’s loan requests from the backend grid and can approve if needed.

We asked developers when and how admin is getting notified when customers asks for more loan, they told me that the extensions doesn't have that feature.

I have indicated that it is necessary for the administrator to receive a notification. The team has promised to add this function immediately. I therefore give Magecomp a five star rating because they take this problem seriously.

Magecomp has one of the best support. Their extensions are very good. In case if we need any more functionality in their extension so they try to do it in the support period or support service charges which means they do not charge any more for the addition of features we are asking for. What more you can ask for?

I recently purchased an M2 module from MageComp - Order Status.
The module initially appeared to work as described and the functionality meeting our requirements.

Unfortunately, the extension has altered the structure in how Status its status codes are stored.
All the new module Status codes held against the sale orders no longer match any values held within the master Sales Order Status table.
At some point the new status codes (held within the master "sales_order_status" table) get prefixed with a "state_code_" value and stored against orders in the sales_order table. So after querying the master table for a list of status codes, any query on the sale_order table will never return those orders that have the new magical prefix.

After days of communication with their support, detailed descriptions going only one way (from me to them), I have decided to cut my losses and remove the module.

In its current design, I have no use for this module. I have now spent spent further time attempting to get a refund only a few weeks after purchasing the module. It's like getting blood from a stone.

I have certainly not experienced all the lovely help and support that is referenced in their site reviews - which makes me wonder.
In the future, I will look more closely at the reviews and think carefully about what has been said and how.
Then make an informed choice if I want to continue with this module.

Unfortunately, my whole experience has been awful and I will certainly be looking elsewhere for any future extensions

I've attempted to find the module on Magento's MarketPlace. It didn't appear to be alongside their other 87 extensions

6th March 2020:
Following further discussions with MageComp, the module provider has apologised and has since refunded the module that I no longer want.

I was reminded that they had offered to review the code and its compatibility within the site, but due to our security policies, I was unable to provide them access. Hence we had to remove the module and make alternative arrangements.

I do wish to add that we have used two different modules from MageComp previously which work well with the sites and we haven't had any issues with them.

So to clarify, the rating above is purely for the Order Status module as in my opinion, the module has a flaw in which Order Status codes are stored. The issue was fairly complicated to explain to the support team, so I will be giving them the benefit of the doubt.
