Ordered a ladies winter coat, paper line poor quality. Four emails later they eventually gave me the return address and instructions kept trying to give me a discount to keep the coat, that was never going to happened. Don’t believe the Netherlands head office address this is definitely a Chinese company. Return costs are expensive and I fully expect there’s going to be a problem with my refund although I didn’t bother to take it out of the plastic wrapper. The whole package weighed 520 grams not heavy for a winter coat. Won’t get caught out again with goods from China. Diabolical service and goods.

Company is based in China even though the website implies it's in the Netherlands. Don't be fooled!

Purchased 3 men's jackets. Package took over 3 weeks to arrive, only contained 2 jackets which were way too small and poor quality - cheap materials, nothing like the pictures on the site. So I requested a return and also asked them not to send the missing items but just refund me.

The returns process was incredibly tedious with them continually (5+ emails) trying to persuade me to keep the items. They then sent the missing item in a separate package even after I specifically asked them not to. This meant I eventually had to pay for TWO return packages to CHINA which left me £33 out of pocket.

The only positive was their email communication was reliable (replies within 24 hours) and very polite (thank you AI).

Overall - AVOID.

Awful. Bought jewellery set for special occasion. Looked above average quality on website photos. Website also gave impression that it’s a Dutch company but delivery took 20 days from - I suspect- China. Missed arriving for special occasion. Necklace single layer not double layer as requested and earrings lacking the fasteners. Both poor quality. Had to email Maedens who refused refund and offered only replacement. Replacement necklace was also wrong and no replacement earrings. Given up contacting Maedens. Necklaces will go in granddaughter’s dressing up box since poor quality. Will not be using any online company who only has email address as point of contact/returns.

No refund given was offered 20 percent in the end of full price . Garment was awful very poorly made do not use this shop

Slow delivery, with excuses of it being a busy time for them. Took 16 days to receive my order. Communication was good and the product is as described but in today’s world this is too slow for my liking.

Same experience as all the other less than 1 star reviews. Continually delayed delivery, totally sub-standard goods. AI generated customer service email. Explained how difficult returns were and offered 10% refund or 50% off voucher, why would you ever want to buy anything from them again. Complained that 10% was insulting. The photos are copied and the goods do not represent them in any way, shape, or form. AVOID THIS COMPANY.

Avoid buying from this company at all cost.
Delivery took 3 weeks. When it arrived it looked awful, VERY poorly made. No way I would wear it.
Cost £40.00. First of all I was offered a 10% refund, when I complained I was offered a final offer of 20% discount. So I have paid £32.00 for a jumper I wouldn't be seen dead in. I have since seen the same jumper on another site selling at £7.99. I wouldn't even rate it at 1 star if there was that option

Ordered an item of clothing as a gift. Firstly, it arrived late, which they did advise me of to begin with, but it turned up even later than expected.

More importantly, the quality was completely sub-standard. The item looked nothing like the photos on the website, had loose threads everywhere (literally about to fall apart) didn't fasten properly and was completely mis-shapen.

When I contacted customer services for a return and refund (which I am well within my rights to do so) they refused the return and full refund, instead offering 2 alternative options:

• 10% refund back to your original payment method – You keep the item, no return needed, and still receive part of your money back.
• 50% store credit for a future order – If you’d like to shop with us again, you’ll have credit ready to use toward anything you choose, giving you much more flexibility

This "company" is not following the laws for online selling. They're complete scam artists; I've now got an item of clothing that's only fit for the bin, and am out-of-pocket.

Do NOT purchase from them under any circumstances.

Item was poor quality and took weeks to arrive. When I wanted to return and contacted Maedens, the email responses seemed to be generated by AI and I was offered the option of keeping the item with a 10% refund. Why would this ever be acceptable! % increased to 20% but no 100% refund offered. Return address was then advised as in China despite the packaging having a Belgium return address. Cost me £26 to return and as yet still waiting on that full refund.

Item took weeks to be delivered, wasn’t the same as depicted on website & of very poor quality. Took 7 emails with the company (AI generated replies) prevaricating before they sent me a refund. Initially they offered me a 10% refund or to keep the poor quality item and a 50% credit off a future order. Then they said they would replace the item postage free but why would I want another shoddy item? I was just about to resort to logging a PayPal dispute when they refunded my payment. I haven’t returned the item as they never sent me an address although I asked them for one repeatedly. Wouldn’t ever buy from them again.

Awful to deal with. Refused to refund payment on a poor quality item unless I paid the shipping cost from the UK back to China!

Do not buy from this sham company. As with many previous reviews, there are long delays for delivery (3 weeks for me), product is very poor quality, AI-generated and useless 'customer service' emails, stalling refund process and, when eventually received, return address in China.
Feel a fool I bought from them in the first place.

They are not able to provide a reliable delivery service. I’ve waited 3-4 weeks for a beanie hat and nothing has arrived even though emails are received they are not able to complete their orders in a timely manner.

Do not order from this company. Based in China so normal rights don't apply. In process of trying to get a refund. Sent the wrong item after several weeks of waiting. Customer service is awful and looks like it's AI generated.

Do not buy from this company. If possible it would have 0 stars. Items do not reflect standard of sandals in the image or description. Misleading as website suggest company is in Netherlands, when it is actually China. Delivery states 7 days, and then you get an email to say they are delayed. 3 weeks to arrive, and items cheap, poor quality and absolutely not worth the sale prices advertised. Returns have to go to China and you have to pay the return shipping costs. Which I have my doubts whether you would get the money back!

Ordered online, two dresses as part of a deal. Waited a long time to receive good & when they arrived, the quality was poor and not as advertised in description or photo. They do respond to emails via their customer support, but they are overly nice, with little action. Emails stall you for time, the returns form lacks authority (something anyone could produce on Word) and the offer of 20% back on your card, so you don't have to return it to China is inadequate. My fault - I fell in love with images and didn't check the company. Their name is very similar to a NL brand and probably trade (scam) off of this. Dress material was like a shower curtain & very unflattering. Avoid buying & wasting money. Lesson learnt for me.

Their sizing information is confusing and resulted in me obtaining the wrong size twice, and I am now stuck with clothes I can't wear and almost £100 down the drain. After the first delivery, which took weeks and arrived way after I actually needed the clothes, they proposed to send me a replacement at a small additional cost, which they did, but then the replacement items were still too small (despite being the largest available, and I usually don't have the problem of falling outside the range). Now they refuse to provide a refund. I think they are con artists and they deliver their clothes from somewhere in Asia, which would explain the long delivery times, the inability to provide returns, the confusing size description that is not in line with the usual sizing in Europe, and the sticker on the delivery plastic bag showing Eastern Asian script...all this before I even started commenting on the rather poor quality for the price. AVOID buying anything from this company, it's absolute daylight robbery!
