M50 Skip Hire & Recycling Ltd. Arvostelua 17

My mother and I hired a small skip from M50 Skip Hire last week, to clear out the attic. We found them very easy to deal with and the whole experience stress-free. They rang us to let us know when they would drop off the skip, then the driver called to ask where to place it - he was very careful not to obstruct our driveway - and they called us again to confirm when they could collect it (this morning). This is our first time to deal with them and we plan to again (we're also recommending them to neighbours and friends). They even offer the option of paying in cash (though we used a card). A great Dublin company.

We hired a skip and it hasn't been collected for 14 days now. This skip is actually blocking the next business and despite all pleas to have it collected, they still have not collected it. The helpline number, when you call it they say that they have no contact details for the team that schedules the collections, which is highly unbelievable for a business to operate like that. This is a clear breach of contract and I would advise others not to use this service at all because once you pay them in full to deliver the skip, you are left with no recourse to inforce for them to collect it. This has been a horrible experience and if I could sue them, I would

18 days before they collected the skip despite promising it in 7.

Completed online application for skip bag collection X2 for two bags. Then get a call they don't collect skip bags, there truck is off the road over 4 months - should not be collecting information online for a service they do not provide.

I was advised that the skip I hired would be delayed in collecting until after Xmas. This suited me at the time as we were filling it gradually as part of a project. Without notice the skip was uplifted pre Xmas and it was barely half full. I rang to see if it could be returned but I was basically told no it’s a 3 day skip hire and I should have had it filled. So basically you are at the mercy of them and they are free to collect the skip as and when they feel like it and if it’s not full unlucky

Skip sat uncollected outside house on road for just under 4 weeks. Called every second day to get collected. AVOID!

Avoid this company at all costs - they do not collect the skip in the time frame agreed.

Their website advises they will collect a skip within 7 working days. This has not happened, and as you can see from other reviews is the same for many other customers.

The skip is still on my driveway and is preventing a building contractor I've hired from beginning work since they cannot get machinery into the property.

I've filed a formal complaint with M50 and will be going to the CCPC to progress my complaint if not promptly resolved.

Skip delivered 11 days ago, I've rang 5 days in a row now to get the skip collected and everytime I ring I'm told it's not allocated, dreadful service, avoid at all costs

This was the worst skip company I have ever dealt with. The person we dealt with on the phone was unhelpful. They were late collecting the skip and then lied saying they had called and no one was home which they hadn’t. The man collecting it then urinated against my neighbours house. Absolutely shocking.

So I ordered an eight cubic yard skip with mattress removal. What arrived was obviously way smaller. Measured it out and it was a fair bit shy of a 6 cubic yard. Honest mistake,I thought,so I rang them. Lady on the phone basically said it's my own fault as if I read the disclaimer underneath it says skips vary in size from those advertised. So I got the 310 euro skip (even smaller than that one)for the price of the larger one!?!? She said I'd be refunded as I wasn't happy and it was taken back next day. Still waiting for a refund but it's the weekend so I'll give them a few days. After that I'll charge it back through credit card. Honestly,could have done without this hassle and should have checked out their trust pilot score,which is abysmal.

Not a very good waste managment company due to the fact that they can't manage a pick up? They can manage a drop and getting paid though?
I'd stay clear of these many many other reputable companies out there that will pick their skips up when asked too!

Skip is in a parking bay one week still waiting on pick up!
They were told it needed picking up due to parking situation and not one bit helpful...

Wonderful service. The staff in the office were extremely polite and friendly. The skip was delivered and collected on time and the driver was so helpful, even getting back out of the cab to give me a hand when he saw me struggling to get the couch in. The cheapest and most reasonable skip service, couldn’t recommend them enough.

Arrived on time, but, unfortunately after 13 days it still has not been collected. After numerous calls and us being told yes we will get on to our transport manager to have it picked up, it still sits in the garden.

My mother is terminally ill and lives alone, many nights there has been ppl routing through the skip, scaring my mother while she lays in bed unable to move, leaving bits on the ground too and adding to the skip. I have explained this on every call.

Very disappointed with the lies and bad service.

The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. On time and no delays picking back up.

Very easy company to deal with. Ladies in the call center were lovely. Very efficient. Will definitely use M50 again.
