I recently had my home EV charger upgraded, with the work being carried out by Lyons Electrical in Strood, Kent.
From start to finish, the service was excellent. Communication prior to the installation was extremely good, with a phone call following up on my email to confirm all the details.
On the day, everything went very smoothly. Ryan, the electrician, was extremely helpful, explaining clearly what was going to happen and answering any questions I had. He was also very polite, professional and courteous throughout the installation.

Ryan also took the time to help me set up and understand the new Sync Energy app, which was greatly appreciated.

Overall, a fantastic service from Lyons Electrical. Professional, reliable and friendly from start to finish. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Honestly couldn't be more happier with the service.
I had an electric pod installed and the engineer was so professional.
It was a bit of a difficult job and he had so much patience and nothing was too much trouble and even though it took a little longer it was finished to a high standard no corner were cut.
He was polite and felt very comfortable having him in my home.
Everything was completed and tidied up well, he even stayed till the charger was connected to make sure it was working ok and explained how to set it up.
I emailed in to express how happy I was and got an email back from the director!
All in all a 10 out of 10 experience with this company.

I purchased my ev charger having spoken to Richard. He took the time to talk me through my options and never once made me feel uncomfortable about asking questions. There was no hard sell. After speaking to him at length I made my decision and my ev charger was installed and was done so without any real fuss. I was delighted.
Sadly, just under 2 years later the ev charger that I purchased developed a fault. I rang and spoke to Richard who advised me in the first instance to speak to the manufacturer. After a frustrating chat online with the manufacturer, I wasn’t getting anywhere and so I went back to Richard. I explained my issue and within an hour the problem was resolved. He had organised for the charger to be replaced and within a week, (the delay only due to my work commitments), my replacement charger is up and working. Now that sort of customer service cannot be beaten. I knew I’d chosen the right company from the outset but this experience has only gone on to prove me right. Thank you so much Richard and team, you are brilliant.

Excellent service including communication arranging the appointment, reconfirming the address the day prior to the appointment and the team who carried out the work were very professional and knowledgeable and provided clear explanation.

Following contact the replacement was carried out on time and by friendly and knowledgeable staff. The new device was then explained to me and it worked. Excellent.

I was doubtful about having my charger replaced as I thought there might be hidden charges but the work was done brilliantly by the Lyons engineer and the new charger is perfect...and there was no cost!

I was contacted initially by sync ev to replace an ev charger that was outdated and needed to be replaced. The work was subcontracted out to Lyons electrical. I was contacted by phone and spoke to a lovely lady to arrange an appointment for the works that was convenient to me. On the day, 2 electricians checked my previous installation to ensure it met current regs. They then replaced the charger efficiently and leaving no mess. Both lads were pleasant.

Very impressed with Ryan and Jamie from Lyons who came to replace our broken EV charger this pm. They were very friendly, polite and professional throughout. They quickly identified and explained what the problem was, replaced our unit and improved it's positioning which we didn't realise had been problematic. They also ensured that I was successfully set up on the home charging App on my phone before they left. Very happy with their service-thank you!
