This is a predatory business that takes advantage of women and people who don't know any better. Took advantage of my girl. $330 charge to refill transmission fluid and top up engine oil and jump start a car.... (20 MINUTE JOB AT MOST ) IS A F$#@%! RIPOFF. What you will be charged at a minimum. $99 call out fee for 15 mins. $200 and hour for labour ( this is extreme obviously ) Plus, Plus, Plus "miscellaneous fees". I'll bet you're already too late to read this and avoid this business and you are here because you have been ripped off and burnt like my girl was. NO INTEGRITY

Avoid Lube Mobile at all costs.

My experience with this company was nothing short of appalling. I was told by a Lube Mobile mechanic that my car had over $1,500 worth of mechanical issues and would not pass a pink slip unless I had them repaired immediately. The way this was delivered caused me extreme anxiety — especially as a mother — thinking I was unknowingly driving an unsafe car with my children.

I then took my vehicle to a trusted, independent mechanic for a second opinion — and was told there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. It passed inspection with no issues and was confirmed safe to drive.

What makes it worse is the dishonesty I encountered. The Lube Mobile mechanic failed to tell me it was much cheaper to have my rotors machined rather than replaced — attempting to upsell unnecessary parts and labour instead. This is not just unprofessional, it’s unethical and predatory.

Their follow-up offer of a “complimentary service” was frankly insulting and completely missed the point. I wouldn’t trust them to touch my car again.

I am lodging a formal complaint with Fair Trading and will be sharing my experience widely to warn others. Their conduct raises serious questions about how many other people — especially women — they are misleading or scamming

I would never use this scamming company again. What started out as split hose's then went to 5k in parts and labour. Then the phone call comes nah you need a new motor $13k on top of 5k scammers never put the car back together and charged me for it. Went else where got the job done under half their price with 6 month warranty. No transparency with there rip off pricing. Do not use these scamming people

Amazing service by Jake (S23) my Technician. My old Holden rodeo destroyed the Throw out Bearing, Clutch needed replacement, clutch housing etc. i tried to get local mechanic to look at it. After 2 days of waiting for them to turn up. i ended up going online and tried Lube Mobile for the first time. i booked an appointment on Friday for Monday morning. Jake turned up on time. Found problem, car was towed to workshop the next day, to big of a job for onsite work, gear box had to come out. i needed car urgent as my sons funeral was Thursday. As soon as the car got there Jake got to work. He rang me Tuesday to tell me the extent of job and he also found more wrong with the oldgirl. 2000 Holden Rodeo. i thought there is no way it would be ready for Thursday. Wednesday i called to see if car would be finished, Jake told me he would work back, because i needed the car and he worked overtime by 1 and half hours to finish it off. What and amazing Guy to go above and beyond like that, one other mechanic stayed back also to help out, These Guys are absolutely 100% A1. Thank you guys the car runs like new. if i used anyone else im sure it would still be stuffed. Got to the Funeral all went great, one less problem. i will us these guys for all me car problems from now on. Thank you so much

The job Andy did on my Peugeot RCZ diesel was brilliant, it had started to smoke excessively, he diagnosed the fault, sourced what he needed (not an easy task with these cars) and got a 300,000 km car running like new. Fantastic job, very much appreciated!

I needed to service and register my car

There were two different quotes. Work that needed to be done to register and work that is highly recommended so that the car does have serious issues in the future.

Registration work: $1200
Additional recommended work: $2500

I paid for the registration work and went to a mechanic who I trusted (Couldn't get there originally because the battery was dead and wouldn't jump start).

The mechanic quoted the above, additional work at $1200 and confirmed that basic stuff, like coolant levels, were not done. WOW. Yes you can have different costs and services applied but over 50% up charge on the service feels criminal.

Thank you to Mechanic Amir - Lubemobile Car 75, from Liverpool in Sydney, for your excellent service repairing my ute's clutch and power steering systems. Amir worked tirelessly to achieve a perfect result! Thanks also to Lubemobile for sending your most senior mechanics to advise Amir when he requested that experienced assistance. I am 72 yrs old and it was wonderful to see that Lubemobile passes down the knowledge from the older mechanics to their younger mechanics like Amir. However, Amir had that determination to succeed and he did succeed by working logically through a very challenging repair job! Thank you Amir!!

However I'm not pleased as it seems rushed.

i received footage at 1643.. the last footage of the inspection was received at 1706.

So I paid
$300 for a 20min nspection which apparently included a test drive?. I gave specific instructions that the car dealer closes at 1730pm.

The inspection was booked btwn 2-4pm.

As a customer I'm not confident in purchasing this vehicle based on this inspection. It has let me down.

Needed an alternator asap. Very efficient and quick service by Jack W06. Walked me through the whole process. He also made sure to check whether i needed the alternator. Will highly recommend him

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY This company will rib you off ..they tell lies..
I had the rings on the fuel injected replaced but the problem got worse so I called him back and told me I need 4 new fuel injectes for $4400!!! I had a second pinion and was told that it needs the clamps that hold the fuel injected down ..I rang the manager and said the work has warranty on it so they came and picked up my car to take it to their work shop ..the mechanic that bought the car back had open the bonnet as soon as I came he quickly put the bonnet down and insisted on me taking the car for a test drive and I didn’t realising what he was up to ..I was driving my car hardly any oil in the hydraulic system so when the mechanic bought the car back he would of seen ALL the oil everywhere under the bonnet ..
My car came back with faulty hydraulic system but it went inn working perfectly!!!
What the HECK did they do to my car!!!
They also STOLE from my car the covers on the bolts on the wheels there is 7 missing ..
Also one of the mobile mechanic told me I need a new exhaust with the filter $6000 ..
I found that my car does it electronically…

My Aston Martin DB7 had a serious overheating problem, meaning I was unable to take it to a repairer without incurring the cost of having it towed. I was able to book an appointment online quickly and easily.Liam in van L11 identified and resolved the problem and since Aston do not offer an over the counter parts service he had to make the necessary gasket.
Not the cheapest but my personal experience of the convenience and professional service means I would recommend Lube Mobile to anybody.

Very unreliable . Told me they would see my broken down car between 1-3pm then I got an email saying it would be seen at 10-12 so I phoned to double check and they told me the manager had changed my time for my car to be seen and to go back to my car . They never came and I I phoned back and they said it will be between 1-3pm that the email was a glitch and the previous person on the phone had given me the wrong information . They then never showed up between 1-3pm . I phoned at 315 and they said they would phone the mechanic to see where he was and get the mechanic to phone me . No one phoned me back. I phoned lube mobile again and got the same response . I then got a phone call from the manager stating they had my wrong mobile number and were not able to contact me that they could not attend to my car today. (I had phoned them multiple times and was never told this). Waited all day for them to show up when I could have called another mechanic. Never again.

I had a fantastic experience with Lube Mobile, thanks to Con. I received a callback almost immediately after booking, and he arrived within half an hour—super efficient and much appreciated. Con was friendly, professional, and clearly very knowledgeable. About an hour into the service, another Lube Mobile mechanic who was nearby came to assist with the diagnosis, and together they worked thoroughly to pinpoint the issue. Even though I decided not to go ahead with the repair due to cost, Con was incredibly understanding and never made me feel pressured. His honesty, patience, and the effort he put in really stood out. If you’re after someone who genuinely cares and takes pride in their work, I highly recommend asking for Con.

Just needed a service for the warranty, the car had only done 3,000kms 5 months prior. He tried forcing us to pay for him to change the air cabin filter for $350 i declined, it was a $80 to $100 filter and take 4 minutes to change.
He didnt do the airfilter as he didnt know the brand, he couldnt reset the service remimder as he didnt know how as it was the first mercedes he has serviced. A few weeks later we noticed oil in our garage, turns out the sump plug had been over tightened and the o ring was compressed and was leaking oil. We now have to pay to get it replaced and fingers crossed he hasnt threaded it. I have made contact with lube mobile and waiting for a reply. There was no leak prior and nothing noted on the report. These guys are a bunch of hacks

Rip off. Call out fee of $100. The mechanic was there for half an hour before explaining the car needed to go to the workshop and I was charged another $100.

I've been using Lube Mobile service for almost 14 years and after last few visits decided to never again let these near my car. Transmission fluid change left my car almost not drivable (won't engage in gears). Two different technicians of theirs later still no improvement. Instead sorting transmission, they started blaming and talking about injectors and intake cleaning...pure bs.
My recommendation, unless you personally know the technician, do not risk your car with this mob.

My car has been making a squealing sound for a long time. I've gotten used to this. However, maybe I shouldn't have. As I drove home yesterday during peak hour traffic along Leach Hwy something snapped and it wasn't me. The squealing escalated and the power steering went, much like my knees. The battery light appeared and the park brake light refused to budge, though the park brake was off. With a scowling expression and gritted teeth, I wrestled with my tiny buzz box all the way home. I managed to reverse park the car in a dark recess of the communal basement.
With growing trepidation, I scoured the internet for a mobile mechanic. My normal mechanic is in Mandurah, an hour away. I wasn't making it that far. I found Lube Mobile and read reviews on various sites. It wasn't too bad, but it didn't fill me with hope. I've been taken for rides before because I don't know cars as well as I know words. Anyway, there was an available booking for today and I took it, praying it wouldn't be too awful.
The mechanic was delayed, spiking my anxiety. I had wiped the week clean of volunteer and excercise commitments as previous breakdowns tended to leave me stranded for periods of time akin to being marooned on a desert island.
However....
The mechanic, Joe, wasn't that delayed and we had a great chat when he arrived. He found the car park and the basement with minimal directions, giving me confidence in his competence. Even I got lost when I moved here. I explained everything to him while he appraised my faithful steed. He delivered a quote on replacing the alternator belt and got to work, sorting my baby out within a couple of hours for a reasonable sum. My steed is back on, minus the squeal, and she turns better than I do.

Ute owner, please don't use their service,
Yesterday I paid $460 for oil change and air filter.
I asking for hand break adjustment, mechanic said my car too heavy, he scared of the car will fall over on him.
Asking for steering checking, he told me to go to other companies to fix.....

I thinking , if the mechanic can not perform the job safely, why don't get another job?

This is not the first time I use their service, same car . First time doesn't have a weight issue, but with same setup, second time become issue 😕

Business is hard to run, but using unqualified mechanic I think this business need to close down very soon.
