Vastaus yritykseltä Lola's - Lola's Waterloo
Hello,
Thank you for taking time to share your feedback.
I am so sorry you found your cake hard and stale and that you were disappointed on this occasion.
We do recommend our cakes are at their best for two days from purchase/collection and that they should be refrigerated when not being served.
It is also recommended that the cake is taken out of the fridge into the room temperature for at least 3 hours before serving so it can come back to the right temperature and softness.
If you wish to discuss this further please do get in touch with us at hello@lolascupcakes.com
Kind regards,
Marta
Taste not up to scratch
Cupcakes looked amazing but the taste didn’t quite match, sadly. They were a bit dry and the icing was way too sweet. The personalised printing was great though. I wouldn’t order again.

Dear Victoria,
Thank you for taking time to write feedback.
I'm so sorry to hear that you found our cupcakes to be dry and too sweet.
Depending on how the cupcakes were stored, this can sometimes effect the taste and texture.
Our photo cupcakes do feature buttercream icing which is the sweetest of out options and can be too sweet for some.
I will be sure to pass your feedback across to the relevant teams to be reviewed.
If you would like to discuss this any further, please feel free to email us on hello@lolascupcakes.com.

I ordered at the London Waterloo shop
I ordered at the London Waterloo shop. I need to call the shop 3 times to follow up with the order in 1 week and no follow up was done. Finally, I call the customer hotline. The staff in the customer hotline helped me to confirm the order. It is a very frustrating experience in ordering a cake at that shop.

Not as lovely as I remember
I usually love Lola's cupcakes and their celebration cakes but the 12 batch of assorted flavour cupcakes I bought wasn't as nice as they've been before, they were overly sweet, too much frosting and the cake was dry and lacking much flavour. Not worth the £30+ I spent. Disappointed.
