Lola's - Lola's Selfridges London Arvostelua 

We ordered our 2 tier wedding cake a couple of weeks prior to the wedding and collected it from selfridges the day before - as we were having a city wedding this was perfect for us. The staff on collection were great, the cake came in a lovely box and a bag to carry it (was rather heavy) but easily managed. The following day at our wedding the cake went down a treat, we went for the lemon sponge. Very tasty nice and moist - however we did end up with the whole bottom tier left over- so we took that home with us and shared it out in the coming days, the cake was still just as fresh a few days later. Would definitely recommend and if I ever need an occasion cake again I would not hesitate to order from Lola’s. Thanks so much.

Service at Selfridges- one server a little impatient and not forthcoming when explaining the cake options available.. and it wasn’t clearly advertised.
Eg which cakes were in display - name of the cake and the type of sponge

Really good website to choose your cake. Lots of options at different price points. Collection also easy as you had so many access points. Called customer service with question they were so helpful. Cake was perfect and gorgeous to eat. Made my husbands week. We’re still eating it! Recommended you to everyone, thanks Lola’s cakes

I ordered the carrot cake for a friend’s 82nd birthday. She was so happy with it. From the packaging to the message on top and of course the cake itself was delicious.

Cake turn out as it showed online. Only criticism is that it didn’t come with free candle. If you buy a single birthday cupacke they give you free candle. But having spent almost £50 on a bday cake I was told I don’t get free candle.

Got my birthday cake. Hazelnut flavour was delicious and perfect sweetness.

Bought the GF& Vegan Fudge cake, which was tasty, no refined sugar and loved by my diabetic friend & father.. I also had GF Tropical Opera cake, which was amazing, had mango&raspberry & passionfruit ganache..on the sweet side and would have preferred cream cheese, but my friends loved it

Great staff at the Selfridges counter. Cupcakes were lovely and moist. We got to try a free brownie - millionaire. It wasn't as amazing as the normal brownie. Too sweet and slight caramel taste. Looking forward to their vegan gluten free range expanding so all family members can enjoy.

The cupcakes were very well packaged. Each box was opened and shown to me so I could check the cupcakes. Beautifully decorated they looked lovely and tasted delicious. I picked them up Xmas Eve and we were able to enjoy them for the following 3 days. They kept very well.

I had an issue with my icing picture. I picked the cake from Selfridges and took it straight home. The pic has slid off. I’m a pastry chef too so I was shocked to see that the chefs has stuck the pic with icing … they need to be using an ice spray! And then the costumer helpline lady decided to tell me that I might have left it somewhere hot…it was on the train with me and at home within 45 mins and it’s cold in london for any accidents of melting to happen.
Secondly, I ordered a raspberry and chocolate cake…where was fhe raspberry??? There were 4 raspberries stuck on top of the cake and no hint of raspberry inside the cake. Honestly what the hell

The people stuff was really friendly. The Cupcake was perfect. Light und fluffy with good taste of icing.

Their customer service team was absolutely amazing and they communicated through all the steps with me. Then the CAKE, it was absolutely beautiful and made my baby shower complete.
