My dealings with Locks Direct have been extremely satisfactory. Excellent customer support and very fast delivery.
Very competitive pricing and will certainly get my return business.

I have used locksdirect.co.uk a few times, they have a good selection of padlocks. However, my last experience was disappointing so I am writing this in order that others do not have the same experience of wasted time and money. I paid £15 for next day delivery for two padlocks by 12pm and received a confirmation email. Then wondering what was going on the next day as my delivery had not arrived, I received an email in the afternoon saying the delivery would be a week later instead. Accordingly I cancelled and was then told order would also only be refunded a week later. This is very poor service - so why not just one star in this review? Well, I gave two stars because at least they told me that they were failing to deliver. If they had made a nice goodwill gesture like a sincere apology or a discount code or just something I would have remained a customer, but I won't be returning as a customer. I hope they sharpen up their act as there are plenty of other online lock retailers out there!

I had to purchase four shipping container good quality, insurance approved padlocks . After spending time researching the best locks available, which turned out to be Squire Padlocks, I then compared prices. Locksdirect were by far the most competitive in pricing. The purchasing process was easy, with lots of info on their website, explaining fully all info regarding the type of padlock I was purchasing & advising re all options available for this padlock. Their website is very easy to navigate, with the checkout process very straightforward, offering a variety of paying options. I completed my purchase late in the evening, after opening hours. The following morning, just after 9am I received a telephone call to confirm my purchase & given advice re future purchasing of alike keys for my padlocks. I advised the gentleman that I had compared prices and the prices Locksdirect was much more competitive, even than that of Squire the manufacturer. The gentleman advised me that Locksdirect were involved in the design process, this is one of the reasons why they are so competitive in pricing. padlocks were delivered within 24 hours, package securely, invoice & items enclosed. Customer services, communication, ease of purchase, delivery, variety of choice & pricing are all what make this a worthy 5 star rating.
