Worst customer service experienced for car insurance. No renewal price on the website at all that I could find. Called and passed around for well over 30 minutes and 4 different numbers. Few times being cut off after a long hold.

The system for renewal seems to have changed this year. In the past I was able to phone up, and talk with someone to get a better price if I was thinking of leaving. Now, this is handled automatically. If you can offer automatically me a reduced price, why are you giving me the highest one first - just offer me the best price you can do? Also, to not be able to 'haggle' to get a better price is poor form. Nearly 10% increase in premiums, for a long standing customer with no claims is poor performance Lloyds. I will certainly look for other providers in future.

Easy, clear website to use for Home insurance quote. Rang to confirm a couple of queries and v helpful Customer Service staff dealt with efficiently and clearly. Very good quote...!!(mindful that this might be a 'new customer' lure in... so wont auto renew.)
The only slight downside is not able to administer policy online, unless you already are a customer or have a Lloyds product, which is a bit outdated...if you offer the product, WHY not have dedicated online access for Home Insurance? Having said that, I stumbled upon their Home Insurance (not widely on comparison sites), so would definitely encourage others to investigate. Saved me quite a bit! Of course, the proof/experience will be how any future claims might be dealt with...but seems 24/7 telephone given and I havent made claims for 30yrs.
