I just want to say I have booked for this weekend with Helen Day booking I'd 58277
Apple grove country park and wow what a beautiful stay we have had Helen Day booked our stay i must say she is brilliant. She has messaged while I'm here to make sure we was having a lovely weekend told us what was around what we could do. The Lodge was super clean the little tea coffee sugar sachets was a lovely touch. The beds were so comfy we actually couldn't fault it I will definitely book again with her can't wait for my next venture highly recommend.

We found the lodge on a Facebook page, it’s looked amazing for the price. Messaged Tasha who made it so easy to book, Tasha was a great help and always replied straight away. The lodge was fantastic, the location on site was perfect and so private. A lovely little site with gorgeous woodland and lakes, shame it didn’t have a kids park but they have little projects going on so wouldn’t surprise me if it will have one soon.
Thanks Tasha we’ve had a fabulous weekend and will definitely re book with you.

The booking process for my upcoming vacation went very smoothly. I had a small issue, but the agent was extremely helpful and resolved it quickly and professionally. Their support gave me peace of mind before the trip. Excellent customer service – I truly appreciate it!

I stayed at the hideaway in Lincoln a few weeks ago and had a lovely relaxing time. The lodge was very clean had everything we needed . Hot tub was lovely . Pub on site great too

Really plesent helpful staff, a good choice of places to stay, good prices,
I had the best time with my partner
Would definitely recommend and will be trying other places they have

Relaxing Weekend in perfect location
We recently stayed for a long weekend . The site was perfect for us, hubby enjoyed the fishing and found it very peaceful and relaxing .
Lovely restaurants on site with good choice of food for all tastes.
Lodge was clean , tidy ,in a perfect location , everything you need for a chilled weekend. Will definitely be visiting again

i stayed at the hideaway lincoln on may 17th. the lodge was very clean, well equipped. Hot tub was lovely. Nice riverbank walks. pub onsite was great

We stayed at the Black Bull in Barmston a few weeks ago and loved it .
Lodge was clean , had everything we needed. Hot tub was fantastic.
Close to the beach , short drive to Bridlington was just a lovely break

I have just come back from Woodlakes park Norfolk food was amazing staff was very kind and helpful the agent I booked it with through staycation couldn’t have done anymore for me!
The lodge was clean and tidy I absolutely love the hot tub!! everything was as described I can’t wait to book more holidays !!

Booked a break for July 2025 with friends for a lodge with a fishing peg and a hot tub.
Received an email to say that our booking had been cancelled with no real explanation.
Rang to find out why & they couldn't have cared less, no other lodges avaliable with hot tub & fishing peg so I requested a refund for the deposit which I have received.
Don't quite know what's going on here but I've read on TripAdvisor that it's happened to other people so I would avoid at all costs!

Whilst away at the lodge we made several complaints on site over the weekend. There was a tv but no remote which we reported several times to the receptionist. We were told someone would come and sort it but no one did which left us unable to be able to watch it all weekend. Disappointing for ourselves let alone a 7 yr old child.Then the hot water went off we reported this on several occasions. Someone eventually came late sunday night and couldnt repair it and we were told to go to and use another lodge which had just been left by other occupancts and was filthy I had taken my daughter and granddaughter for a treat due to my daughter having undergone cancer treatment and we wasnt expecting this Over the weekend the smoke alarm batteries had run out and we were left with this constantly beeping all day. Again we reported this several times and tried calling the emergency number given to us with no response. I have sent several emails on my return to the company with no response and also tried to call several times again today with no response. What should have been a weekend to help my daughter overcome an illness we were all left without being unable to bathe or shower, no tv and a constant bleeping noise in the lodge. I'm really disappointed at the lack of concern from the company and absolutely no response to my contact.

I’m not overly thrilled with my night away in the Love Lodge.
We had no lighting after a few hours of arriving, and we had no hot water at all throughout the stay. I did walk down to reception, however it was closed.
A member of staff also entered the enclosed garden at around 9am, which I am not thrilled about, it’s suppose to be private.

Paid the deposit then their payment systems went down for over a month. They wanted us to do a bank transfer to a different company, with a different name, that doesn't appear affiliated. They have been rude and obtuse, they do not answer their phones or emails and are rude when they do reply.
They didn't fix the payment system for over a month and then cancelled our booking because they couldn't accept payment and kept our deposit. Every step of the way i hit red flags for cyber scams. We also paid a deposit to the onsite restaurant of a similar name. That has now closed, website for the restaurant has gone and yes, they won't refund our deposit for the meals either.

We visited Kings Lynns resort on the 25th April for 2 nights.

On the 28th March I was checking my booking to see when we’d be able to check in, for the stay. So I could arrange childcare the day we left.

I noticed where it said total there was a minus amount, so I got straight onto the agent I booked with. Turns out I paid the full price not the discounted, which wasn’t clear…To be asked if I wanted any of the extras…which I said no too. So to be told my refund would take 10-14 days. After the 14th day had passed (not Inc weekends) I got back in touch, to be told could be another 7-10 days and given an email address for the enquires team… to be asked if I wanted any extras and they had no knowledge of a refund… so I queried if I would definitely have before my stay…yes should do… well nope… 1 week today since we stayed and guess what??? Still no refund…I have questioned but if I was the other way round I’d be paying a charge for late payment….but offered 10% off if we want to return…nah…

But back to the stay. As we travelled 4 hours we brought food with us “self catering” and with seeing on the advert “fully-equipped kitchen” but there was no freezer compartment and then the fresh food we’d brought froze anyway! Then we turned down the next day and bought more but still froze.
I also get self catering but no basically bits like toilet roll or hand soap…to go to the reception desk “card only” brill…oh and we have run out of toilet roll….BRILL

But the worst part about going for 2 nights away and having a terrible sleep is just the experience ruined.

The mattress was a bag of springs basically.
There was a rolled up topper??? Maybe if that’s what you want to call it??
BUT it was smaller than the bed…I went with a bad shoulder, came home with an even worse one….

Hot tub to near fence. Real issues getting in and out as have mobility issues.
Bed horrible- used quilt from other room as top cover, so had more comfort to lay on.
Settee and dinning room table to near each other to be able sit comfortably.
Pub. Food good. Staff friendly. Seats horrendous dirty and covered in dog hairs. One visit was enough.
Could not sit outside as dirty and messy
Will not be returning. Wish I had listened to reviews before going.

Avoid Liv Retreats – misleading, filthy, and unprofessional

Our stay at Liv Retreats was so bad we left before spending the first night—and we’ve been completely ignored since.

We arrived to find no key for our accommodation. Five people spent two hours replacing the lock, and during this time we weren’t offered an alternative place to wait or any kind of apology. There was no welcome pack, just a series of disappointments.

The lodge itself was filthy: bedding had mystery stains, the bathroom had toothpaste splatters, the shower was broken, and the kitchen was in a disgusting state, with filthy cutlery and cobwebs everywhere. Outside, we found chewed-up food around the hot tub, which was so over-chlorinated it caused skin burns.

Despite advertised quiet hours from 10pm, loud parties were still going on past midnight, and there was no staff on-site after 6:30pm to report this to.

The place looked nothing like the polished photos on Booking.com. When we left and tried to request a refund, we were ignored completely—even given a fake email address by staff.

Scam operation disguised as a luxury retreat. Avoid Liv Retreats at all costs

Me and my partner have been here 3 times but due to our most recent stay we won't be returning.
The lodge was absolutely filthy and was covered in dust and swarming with insects.
We also had no access to the hot tub and nohot water for the first night of our stay.
We were also placed in the lodge which we believe was a stag/hen night music all day and night this resulting in us leaving on the saturday evening instead of the sunday morning as it just wasn't relaxing. I have previously recommend to friends and family but due to our recent experience me / family members will not be coming back.
i am down for people having a good time but show some respect for others when you blast music from 7am in the morning all way through till 7am the following morning- that's beyond taking the piss.

We visited Little Eden last weekend having paid for a luxury lodge. I'd hate to see what the "standard" lodges are like if the one we were in was supposed to luxury. On arrival we were asked we planned on cooking which I thought was an odd question. I explained we had just come from the supermarket ready to cook our evening meal. She said "oh dear, there's no cooker or hob." Turns out it's been broken for 2 months and she's been telling Management they need to replace it. We asked what we were expected to do and she said she could get us a meal at the sister sites pub that evening FOC. We accepted this as we didn't want to spoil the weekend. 30 minutes later we received a text saying "The pub is closed. Sorry." There was a microwave and one half of the toaster worked, so beans on toast it was. The lodge, whilst mostly clean, was scruffy and unloved. The out door area was an embarrassment. Such a disappointment.

Shocking company who ever owns this shambles of a company clearly has no idea how to run a business lodges are a disgrace filthy and tacky need updating on the plus side the pub and restaurant side were excellent good food and service the people in the pub and restaurant side are clearly not appreciated by whoever runs it my advice to them is get out sharpish .
