Yes customer service is disgusting. I bought a pair of body guard sunglasses, I have only had them two months and the screw fell out of the middle section then the arm fell off. Do not buy them I now wished I had read the reviews as I would not have bought these glasses . Of course when I contacted Le Specs by email they did not want to know me.

Titel: Rechtzeitig storniert – dennoch Versand und Rücksendekosten für zwei Brillen
Ich habe meine Bestellung von zwei Brillen bei Le Specs unmittelbar nach Aufgabe und noch vor Versand storniert – zudem an einem Wochenende. Trotz dieser schnellen Reaktion wurden beide Artikel versendet.
Dass interne Lager- oder Bearbeitungsprozesse offenbar nicht rechtzeitig angepasst wurden, kann nicht zulasten des Kunden gehen. Eine fristgerechte Stornierung sollte entweder zum Stopp des Versands führen oder zumindest eine kostenfreie Rückabwicklung ermöglichen.
Stattdessen sollte ich 11,49 € Rücksendekosten pro Brille tragen. Damit entsteht zusätzlicher finanzieller und organisatorischer Aufwand (Verpackung, Versand, Wege), obwohl die Situation durch die rechtzeitige Stornierung vermeidbar gewesen wäre.
Ich erwarte bei einem international tätigen Unternehmen eine faire, transparente und kundenorientierte Lösung in solchen Fällen. Leider entsprach meine Erfahrung mit Le Specs diesen Erwartungen nicht.
Annulation effectuée à temps – pourtant expédition et frais de retour pour deux lunettes
J’ai annulé ma commande de deux paires de lunettes immédiatement après l’avoir passée et avant leur expédition – de plus durant le week-end. Malgré cette réaction rapide, les deux articles ont été envoyés.
Le fait que des processus internes (stock ou traitement) n’aient manifestement pas été ajustés à temps ne peut pas être imputé au client. Une annulation effectuée dans les délais devrait soit entraîner l’arrêt de l’expédition, soit au minimum permettre une procédure de retour gratuite.
Au lieu de cela, il m’a été demandé de payer 11,49 € de frais de retour par paire de lunettes. Cela représente un coût financier et organisationnel supplémentaire (emballage, envoi, déplacements), alors que la situation aurait pu être évitée grâce à l’annulation effectuée à temps.
J’attends d’une entreprise professionnelle une solution équitable, transparente et orientée client dans ce type de situation. Malheureusement, mon expérience n’a pas été à la hauteur de ces attentes.

Update: I have finally had a response amd confirmation to receive the remaining refund due.
Very poor customer service. They have refunded me the wrong amount, short of £56. I have emailed multiple times and still no response.

Very disappointed with the refund process.
I returned the glasses quickly as they didn’t suit me. I contacted customer service several times by email, but didn’t receive any proper response about my refund for over 21 days.
I had to raise a dispute through PayPal, but after providing all the information, the decision still went in the retailer’s favour. It was really frustrating. Just because you return an item doesn’t always mean you’ll automatically get a refund — so be aware.
In the end, I finally got my money back through a chargeback with my bank. I decided to donate that money to stray dogs instead.

Let’s start with the terrible offers - that 20% discount for signing up to the newsletter- not happening! I contacted them and customer service takes 2/3 days to come back by email.
Finally ordered (without discount) and when I saw the sunglasses I can safely say they are second hand and have definitely been used before. They are full of scratches all over the place.
Don’t waste your money! This company it’s not it.

I live in Singapore and they ship the sunglasses fast.
Refunds are free BUT you need to bear the cost of postage yourself. They also do not refund the shipping cost you may have incurred to receive your sunglasses. All in all if you buy a pair of sunnies and decide to return them, you will lose about 20 euros but at least you get to return a pair that doesn't suit you.
I bought another pair of sunnies that i like more from lespecs. The quality is OK, not terribly cheap but not super well-constructed. There's a time and place for a brand like this that does trendy eyewear without the designer price tag. You won't be as sad about losing a pair of these if you tend to lose your sunnies like I do.
Overall from the exchange rate it is a bit expensive if you include the 10 euros shipping fee but I think it's a reputable brand and the returns process was alright, I got an email notification for a refund 1-2 business days after they received my item.

Such a SCAM. I ordered sunglasses and haven’t received the item even after 2 months and a half. The tracking status has been “in transit” this whole time and nothing has changed. I’ve just raised a dispute against them—hopefully I’ll get my money back, because it feels like my package was shipped to Mars.
Oh, and they don’t respond to emails. Worst customer support ever.

I‘ve been trying to return glasses for weeks now, that were in a package that I habe been waiting for 5 weeks, having paud 50 Euros of customs fees.
Now it‘s the 10th time I am getting back the same answer saying that returns are only possible within 30 days of purchase- how the hell can it be my fault I have had to wait for 5 weeks for my order, paid 50 euros of customs fees and now I am not even able to return part of my purchase??!!!

I returned 2 of the 3 sunglasses I ordered from le specs on 6th May and did not get a refund. I therefore emailed them at the end of May and they said they had been unable to refund me to my initial payment method (??) and whether I had PayPal that they could send money to. I gave them my email address for PayPal 2 weeks ago and they said they would pass it to their finance team and the refund should be actioned within 3 days. I have not heard anything since, nor received my refund of £84. I have emailed them again yesterday and am yet to receive a reply. I can see someone else has had a similar experience below - had anyone managed to get a refund?

I really wish I had visited Trustpilot before ordering from this company. My sunglasses arrived with no issue, however they did not suit me, so I sent them back requesting a refund. I was sent an email saying that they can't refund the money back to my account, and they asked to do a wire transfer. In order to do this they wanted all my bank details, name , address and other personal details. My issue is; if they can withdraw money from the account details I gave them, why can't they put money back in. I'm not prepared to give all my personal information over an email. I have sent several emails to which I receive an automated reply; there is no personal customer service. has anyone actually managed to get a refund from them? If so, I'd like to know how!!
