L’avventura è appena all’inizio …
Quanta passione nelle parole di Giorgio… Quanta enfasi nel raccontarci la sua devozione e la sua ammirazione per la storia… Una storia semplice: quella di un’acqua dal sapore antico... quella che passava nelle mani delle “magiche“ acquafrescaie, le sacerdotesse della mummarella, un simbolo che ha attraversato i secoli della storia e ha caratterizzato un pezzetto del cuore di Napoli, capace di accogliere e donare, senza riserve, un po’ di sé a chiunque ne avesse bisogno.
Da qui nasce l’esigenza di tramandare un racconto vero, semplice e dagli occhi vividi, come quelli della signora Marietta, la sacerdotessa delle Mummarelle… Da qui il bisogno di creare un posto confortevole per offrire un caffè e buona ospitalità a chi si trovava, anche solo di passaggio a casa nostra… da qui, l’idea di stravolgere e creare con inventiva, gusto ed esperienza: ecco che un appartamento diventa un B&B di charme.
Giorgio rappresenta l’immagine tipica del giovane imprenditore che si reinventa e si adatta alle nuove realtà di mercato, riscoprendo ogni volta le sue innate inclinazioni e facendo di queste il segreto del suo successo.
La sua più grande virtù, l’attenzione ai dettagli……esperto di edilizia per tradizione familiare, interior designer per passione, “ospite” per vocazione…Giorgio ha saputo coniugare tutte le sue esperienze e le sue passioni in questa nuova avventura, tanto da esclamare, a chiusura della sua narrazione: bingo!……ed il suo sorriso si allarga, quando ci racconta del suo prezioso e validissimo staff; della sua famiglia coinvolta: un nipote poco più che ventenne, ma dinamico ed intraprendente, che lo affianca in tutto e per tutto; delle mummarelle, le anfore preziose, che troneggiano nel “salotto di casa”, per ricordare agli ospiti che la nostra storia non è un gioco, e che Napoli ti sa conquistare in ogni momento.
Dal primo B&B, oramai è tutto un inarrestabile crescendo: il santaLucia20, il santaLucia133, il santaLucia34, il duomo64, e, per chi vuole il mare ancor più a portata di mano, villamaria7 nello splendido Golfo di Policastro……..… Le Mummarelle Accommodation diventa un gruppo con tanta voglia, ancora, di crescere……
Le carte ci sono tutte…… Sarà sicuramente una bella partita.

We stayed here recently, our room was not as we booked but the staff did all they could to make sure we were happy with another option. Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Breakfast in the morning is continental with lots of choice and also has fresh baked goods. Staff are so kind and helpful nothing is too much trouble. Cleaning in rooms is done everyday unless you do not want it. The location is fantastic. I will definitely be back.
We stayed at this accomodation for 5 nights in September and it was a nightmare. We booked it for a family vacation for three people. It wasn't obvious that our two rooms (one double, one studio) were 10 minutes drive apart from each other and the accomodation didn't bother telling us and also that the studio was big enough for 3 people. Instead they only argued that they have a non refundable cancellation fee and that we could see it in our reservation. No understanding or willing to change anything, just pure money focus! Also why would I book a family vacation in two different locations? The accomodation service didn't bother. I also asked for hotel transfer from the airport in three different e-Mails beforehand, no answer! They seem to ignore guest requests. The guy at the reception was cheeky and stubborn and even made us wait for over 15 minutes at check-in. We weren't able to talk to a manager the whole time. They ignored my calls, just answered my mails unsatisfactory and then ignored me. I have never been treated this badly by a so called B&B. It was unprofessionell and frustrating. We stayed in the studio in the end together in the old town, but had to pay for a double room and the studio. The studio apparently fits 5 people, but it's only for three. The sleeping room was too hot, bad air conditioner that didn't work at all. The sleeping couch in the living room had only a thin mattress - no proper bed. We couldn't sleep at all. The room was super noisy. The whole studio was loud inside and outside. The shower was full with lime and didn't stream properly, the handle bar next to the bidet was broken and the shower was dirty. The handle bar at the window in the hallway was broken. The whole studio was hot and no proper way of having some fresh air coming in. The highlight was the blanket full of sweat and feces stains! The lift costs 10 cents per use. They didn't tell us either. It was so disgusting. It was the worst vacation ever in this studio. I can only warn you of this place and their rip-off manager and staff! They will just ignore your requests until you leave. It doesn't look anything like in the pictures. But the bad "service and guest treatment" tops everything!
