Was given a bmw X5
Was given a bmw X5. Was damaged , both side walls on front tyres, they had chalk marks on tyres showing damage, so clearly the knew about it but still gave the car out on hire, bmw should be ashamed for using such a company, stay well clear, second time this has happened to me, last year they charged me for a new tyre, I notified them the next day when I received the car there was a slow puncture but they said I had caused the issue!

After dropping my car off at bmw they are trying to scam me to sign a £1000 acsess fee, after several compaints to bmw nothing has been done. dont go near LCH and check non fault fees.

As a third-party hire vehicle provider, all of our vehicles do go out with a standard excess in place, however this is an "in the event of" charge and is only payable if you were involved in an accident, or is the maximum you would be liable for if damages were to occur during your hire period.
I have reviewed your booking, and can see that you opted to not go ahead with a hire due to the excess terms, with your booking being referred back to your breakdown provider for alternative options to be explored.
We appreciate all feedback, even when not so positive, as this helps us to make continuous improvements to the service we provide for our customers, so we appreciate the time you have taken to share this with us.

Mercedes Loughton organised this company for a replacement vehicle as my vehicle is being repaired at Mercedes Loughton. After waiting and sending personal information to get a replacement vehicle with this company LCH they declined to give me a replacement vehicle as I got a 1 ccj of £300. What I wasted time I’m not getting a mortgage or a loan.As a high client to Mercedes I have asked them to remove the recommended use to LCH and to use another hire company

At the point of receiving documentation, checks are undertaken to ensure that each customer meets eligibility criteria, which includes identity checks. This is explained on our document portal prior to you uploading your driving licence, and a link is provided to our privacy policy for further information.
Security and identity checks are carried out via a third party risk solutions database, using a risk criteria set by LCH alongside our insurance requirements. Whilst the outcome (pass or fail) is visible to colleagues within our Customer Service Team, we do not hold detailed data and therefore our team are unable to provide specific details or overturn the decision.
We use the information returned to us at a high-level, alongside our internally defined risk scorecard, to support consistent and objective decision-making. This scorecard reflects our operational risk appetite and is applied uniformly across all hire requests.
We appreciate the time you have taken to share your feedback with us, even when it is not positive all feedback is taken on board to help us provide the best possible service to our customers.

“I was referred to LCH by BMW…
“I was referred to LCH by BMW Assistance to receive a like‑for‑like replacement vehicle. My own car is a BMW X7, yet I was offered with a BMW 3 Series, which they consider to be a matching or equivalent vehicle. This is completely unreasonable and the service I have received is extremely poor.”
