Lauyan TOWeb Arvostelua 

Utilisateur de Lauyan TOWeb depuis de nombreuses années, je me décide aujourd'hui à laisser un avis sur la version 15 (encore en béta) et sur le SAV de ce produit.
Cette version 15 sera une révolution par rapport aux précédentes, par sa qualité, le rendu des sites produits et surtout par la qualité, la rapidité et le professionnalisme, sans oublier la patience de l'équipe, car nous ne sommes pas tous des professionnels du développement WEB.
Il nous reste en France, des produits et des équipes SAV qui méritent tout notre respect et notre confiance.

Après ma demande d'aide pour la version 14, la question à été résolue.
J'utilise Toweb depuis la version 7 avec beaucoup de satisfaction alors que je ne suis pas férue d'informatique et l'avantage c'est que l'on achète la version une fois pour toute sans abonnement mensuel.

J'utilise Toweb depuis plusieurs années et c'est clair dès le début.
Vous payer UNE FOIS pour un logiciel qui fait son travail et si comme tous nouveaux logiciels il faut apprendre son utilisation, une fois maitrisé et utilisé avec toutes ses optimisations possibles votre site peut être très bien référencé.
De plus, le service client est réactif et à l’écoute. Avec la parution de la version 15, on constate que l’équipe suit de très près l’évolution du logiciel et prend en compte les retours et les demandes de correction de ses clients. Un suivi sérieux et une proximité avec les utilisateurs qui méritent d’être soulignés !

I have been buying ToWeb from Lauyan for several years, but like some other products I have bought, the prices just seem to increase in line with nothing…, to a point where I do wonder if it is still worth buying?
I have been in business for 50+ years and know quite a lot about business, having bought enough tech kit to fill a small warehouse.

With the current full price of the studio edition at €399, I feel it is priced to the max, bordering on expensive when compared to other products in the marketplace, but the pricing is Lauyan’s choice, it is my choice whether to buy it or not…

But like everything in life, once you are in, you are in and you can only do your best at the point when you are forced to make these decisions. Being a small web developer, I have at each upgrade point, researched web editors/designer software and have to say there are many cheaper products, some less than €49 but with the add-ons it’s €100, plus there are many web editors/designer programs online and provided free with cPanel or Plesk, there are other scripts you can install on your hosting like Wordpress, Concrete, etc...

With the ToWeb upgrade now at an eye watering €299, which is only 25% off the new price?

I paid for my last upgrade in June 2026 to v14.
In September/October 2026, just 3 months after my v14 purchase they released v15.

I asked Lauyan for the upgrade, they said to qualify for the free upgrade you had to have purchased it in September 2026?

They are saying that version 14 is perpetual, so I can use it forever, but anyone who works on the web knows it is evolving every single day, with newer versions of important core scripts like JQUERY, new ways of writing code, etc, you need to keep the software and scripts updated.

My last web sites I created using the old ToWeb software versions, I kept receiving warnings of vulnerabilities due to the scripts ToWeb was adding into the pages, but with Lauyan promoting a new version, they did not maintain the old versions as I kept getting the vulnerability warnings, I emailed Lauyan support but the errors never went away, so, saying it’s perpetual is like saying you can upload Wordpress script and never have to worry about performing any updates, yeah right.

So, here's my conundrum, do I pay again 3 months later, what would you suggest?

I have considered their response and moved it to 1 star, because how would you feel if you upgraded to the latest version of a software, only to be sent 3 months later a promotion for the new version and asked to pay €249, viable businesses are no longer viable businesses if the customers no longer see value or even feel valued.
