McIntosh Arvostelua

Great selection of yarns and other goods on line

Prompt dispatch and delivery over the Christmas period which was really appreciated, lovely items and customer service was first class. Will definitely use again in future. Thank you.

You always seem to have what I cannot get anywhere else, great price, great service and arrives so quickly , even to the bottom end of the 🌎

The company's website is inspiring and I'm really impressed with the variety of yarns and patterns available. Delivery of my 'Sunshine' cotton from Wool Addicts was an problem as Parcel Force delayed it several times, but the yarn was well worth the wait. Thank you for your hard work on behalf of your customers. I'm sure you make a lot of us smile when we receive our yarn!

Thank you James for supplying this beautiful Langs Promise wool. It’s just about the nicest yarn I have ever knitted. The colour has a wonderful depth and there is such a great choice of shades. It’s knitting up very quickly and it is just very good for arthritic fingers. Excellent service as always

very good service throughout, was very happy with the yarn and knitting needles that I purchased. Would recommend this company.

Fast prompt delivery super looking product is a lovely Christmas present for my daughter in law

Very easy to order, needles dispatched straightaway with tracked delivery by Royal mail Good personal service highly recommended

I've ordered a few different things from James now and I'm as thrilled as I was the first time. His wool is gorgeous and can't wait to try others. The order was delivered quickly and wonderfully packaged. I love the small touches like having a label that can be sewn onto your projects, giving a professional feel to your work and so you never forget what products were used and where they came from. James is very knowledgeable and his reviews on products he sells are worth reading. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent customer service

I am so impressed with my experience shopping from McIntosh. James is so friendly and helpful and his yarns are superb. I will definitely be buying from him a again.

Seller kept me well informed through the whole ordering process. Beautiful quality of sock yarn, just started knitting.
Nice for me to have found somebody selling my favourite yarn from my homeland.

The items arrived quickly and in perfect shape!

Beautiful yarn, thoughtfully packaged. I appreciated the personal ‘thank you’ note. Received with the minimum of delay.

I’ve had an exceptional experience shopping from this business. If you are looking for KnitPro knitting needles, this is a great place to go (they sell other things too but that’s what I shopped for). They are an affiliated partner with KnitPro so you know the products are legitimate and of a high quality.

There was a slight error with my order but it was fixed with such efficiency and grace. I sent a polite email explaining the situation and was replied to within the same day and the correct product was on its way within a day or two, with no additional charges. Mistakes happen, we’re all human; but the way it was handled has absolutely cemented me as a returning customer. Consider me your stamp of approval for great customer service. I’ve had a fantastic experience communicating with James to resolve my very minor issue and voila, my problem evaporated pretty damn fast.

Highly recommend shopping from and supporting this business. Plus the lovely little hand written thank you note is always a lovely and personal touch :)

Always a great personal experience, always a pleasure!

James was very communicative, kind, and courteous. He promptly prepared my order, and it was a delight to receive updates from him. Thanks McIntosh!

I found James (very luckily) when I was hunting for 2mm bamboo circular needles to do an ultra fine cashmere/silk knitted lace project - he is the only stockist I could find in the UK. He provides quality items and adds a real personal touch to a very prompt service. I have no qualms recommending that others purchase from him and will certainly be shopping again myself.
