John Hall's Alaska Arvostelua 

My husband and I traveled with John Hall's Alaska on their Grand Slam Alaska tour in July 2026 for 15 days. We would give this company 10 stars if possible! Absolutely everything was handled for us and it was top notch. Our tour guide/bus driver was extraordinary. Every person we dealt with at John Hall's went above and beyond. We highly recommend them and look forward to traveling with them again in the future.

Attention to details by John Hall was excellent. Any issue was resolved quickly, even when it wasn’t John Hall, John Hall took care of it. Our guide Mark was very knowledgeable, personable, entertaining, with a great sense of humor.
Alaska was beautiful. Being able to visit the places on our tour was well done and very interesting.

As being first time John Hall's guests and visitors of Alaska, we highly recommend the Grand Slam tour as it gave us the most variety of sights and experiences in the 49th state in just 10 days. My trip with John Hall Alaska was awesome! Well organized, great accommodations, all inclusive was so nice and the best tour guide. The bus was very comfortable also. Didn’t want my trip to end. I have recommended the trip to others since I am back. Loved everything we saw and did.

We were treated exceptionally well during our entire trip, from the Hall family to our tour guide Mark to every hotel and restaurant we visited. The trip was at a nice pace, keeping us moving from one place to another. If there was one thing I could change, it would have been nice to have a little extra time for walking around and enjoying Talkeetna.

I went to a seminar to learn about the Alaska trip. The information was presented accurately: the trip provided and included all of the facts as stated. The company made sure to assist with the flights, answering questions as they arose prior to the tour. The office personnel were courteous and helpful especially when I was having trouble understanding how to navigate an airport for the first time.

The company provided a solid itinerary with daily activities and events based on the written schedule. The tour guide/bus driver provided a verbal explanation of the expectations; description of what the event entailed; and length of time for each stop.

The company provided solutions for hic-cups during the trip. The tour guide/bus driver repaired the lift on the bus when it malfunctioned; talked with restaurant personnel about meal mix-ups; and made sure the motels provided what they advertised (internet service). The CEO made alternate arrangements for travelers when the airline delayed 3 travelers departure time. The company also made special arrangements for 5 group members to make a hook-up to the cruise line prior to the end of the tour.

The tour bus was specially designed to provide ample leg space, with electric outlets and USB ports for phones and computers. The Guide was knowledgeable and friendly, providing a red-carpet treatment throughout the tour. Luggage (one piece) was loaded and unloaded at each site (you managed your extra items). Most restaurants on the tour had prior knowledge of the food needed for the arrival of the group (pre-order forms handed out on first day). The tour guide communicated to the office or restaurant on the orders as well as calling ahead to let them know our estimated time of arrival.

The organization, planning and scheduling of activities went smoothly due to the company's team of personnel. They meet you at the airport; transport you to the motel; guide you through the entire trip; and treat you like you "matter". The white glove treatment makes you feel special and important.

I've never been on a bus tour before and had no idea what to expect. Put 24 different individuals in the same space for 10 days?! The people on the tour helped make this an unforgettable vacation. Each member was upbeat, friendly, and fun to be with. Positive interactions occurred from the first breakfast to the last day of the trip. Our group was fantastic.

So, from the start to finish this trip was well organized, planned, and executed. Events went as listed; transitions were smooth; and individuals were friendly and memorable. I have not hesitated to tell others about this company and the extraordinary trip I took with them.

We had a fabulous trip to Alaska. Everything was very well organized and communicated to us clearly. Our guide was knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. It was even better than we expected!

Kathleen and I had a trip of a lifetime. Everything that John Hall did for us was first class. Every location was beautiful and there was always something to do. Every hotel we stayed in were 5 stars and all the meals on the trip were delicious and the portions were huge. Phenomenal Tour! John Hall's Alaska is the absolute best. Excellent accommodations, great food, exceptional experiences and the best tour guide ever in Jeremy. John Hall gets the highest recommendation!

The Untamed Alaska trip is the perfect mix of adventure and sightseeing. Glacier kayaking, white water rafting, boat adventures, Denali Park, a glass domed train ride, this trip had it all. The small group atmosphere is wonderful and is so nice to not have to deal with luggage and gratuities.
Bring stretchy pants because the food is delicious. 😋
The booking process was very easy. Everything was easy start to finish.
If you want to really experience Alaska, John Hall’s Alaska is the way to go.

The "Grand Slam Alaska" Tour was an enjoyable way to experience Alaska for a first time visit. The all inclusive tour with excellent service and knowledgeable tour guide made it easy to enjoy the sites and learn about the history and culture of Alaska. Very good experience.

Scenery was great, food was great, Driver/Guide was great. A First Class experience.

The planning and forethought that went into this trip on the part of John Hall's Alaska, was stellar! They truly have literally every detail covered! Our tour guide, Steve Thompson, was so knowledgeable and fun and took care of us like family! All of the excursions, lodging, meals, etc. were top notch and all included which truly made the trip totally worry free! Alaska is truly WOW around every corner and this was the trip of a lifetime for us! Beyond happy with the whole experience!
