Established in 2003 we are a family run female led business that started out by selling furniture in Tredegar, South Wales. In 2005 we moved to Blackwood, Caerphilly where we opened a two story retail store in the former Bier Keller, expanding our range of products to Furniture to homeware. 2007 was the start of an extremely tough year for us and many other businesses across the UK as the credit crunch hit, forcing us to change how the business operated. No one was buying furniture anymore so we moved into selling gifts, Jewellery, Cards. Womens Fashion accessories, Soft Toys & homeware. 2012 saw some more changes with the introduction of Number 5 The Tea Room. Which offers afternoon tea, cakes, coffees, and snacks. 2012 was also the first year we went online with Kismetblackwood.co.uk where we now stock nearly 3000 products from major brands including: Jellycat, Nomination Italy, UNOde 50, Katie Loxton, Joma London, Powder Designs and many more.

Awesome customer service

Awesome customer service, really helpful shop staff and excellent prices on my doorstep! Where I would have had to travel to Cardiff/Merthyr to find what I needed a quick trip to Blackwood is much more convenient. Definately my go-to shop for Warhammer and whenever my daughter wants her Jellycat fix!

Recommended by a friend. Great online experience- speedy delivery and well packaged. A present for my daughter (unopened as of yet) but I know she will love it!
I do prefer to try and support smaller local businesses when I can so this little shop is ideal!

Love the fact that the shop stocks high…

Love the fact that the shop stocks high quality stock items, the shop is local and easy to order on line. The interactions through social media and the public is exceptional. The community is allowed to get involved with competitions etc.

Online Jellycat Order

Made an online order for a Jellycat I had pre-registered for. Process to order was easy and straight forward and delivery was very quick.

Lovely shop

Lovely shop, bought something online and delivery was super fast. Very happy with the new jellycat I got for my daughters birthday.
