Kids Discover Arvostelua

Thank you for creating such engaging resources

The curriculum provides students with very detailed information and which allows them several opportunities to develop skills and demonstrate comprehension. The images are amazing and students are able to learn at their own pace.

“I need to be able to count on students being able to log in whenever they need to. Half of my class couldn’t access their accounts, so they had to do something else instead

My students love the site and I enjoy they can work independently and at home.

I use Kids Discover every week with my 3rd and 4th graders. It is superior in many ways to other digital content, with appropriate and varied text complexity, nuanced in tone. The richness of images and examples of primary sources and cross-curricular connections support our Language Arts and Social Studies curriculum. It is a valuable digital resource for us.

Super hard to use
I have issues logging in and assigning things. takes forever to load and my class has issues navigating it as well.

i love it, it's easy to learn about stuff, and well thought out

My student did the quick quiz in their account. The same 2 questions were in there twice. The questions were the same as the questions on Get Set to Read and It's In The Reading Worksheets. I thought the Quick Quiz would be different questions reviewing more of the information.

I need to count on students being able to login whenever they need to. I had half of my class that could not login to my account, and so they had to do something else.

I love this company. The articles are interesting, just the right length, and have wonderful pictures. The vocabulary activities that go along with the articles are great and the videos help engage my children in the topic. I am so glad I subscribed.

Edit: Immediately got help for this. Hoping it holds up!

Students can't log in! Logging in with google isn't working consistently.

Content is wonderful, the website can sometimes be a bit glitchy.

We've added their videos to our homeschooling/life schooling routine somewhat casually, but I love the way they get my son thinking. This is a great starting point, helping us have more dynamic conversations by giving students a brief introduction to a topic.

The bright and bubbly (literally it is a bubble map of topics) make it interesting and engaging for the children. While I was taking my first stroll through the site my son looked over and said, "What's that?"
We have been hooked ever since. The classroom/folder system is easy to use. As a homeschool parent, hearing your child ask "Can I study that?" is so rewarding! Great site! I will give them my money for years to come. It's cheap too! One whole year costs less than a tank of gas!

Love the variety of articles!

I really like the Kids Discover format. I love the quick quizzes. What I wish was that the lesson plans matched the online portions more. I like being able to teach science and reading in one area. However, I feel that my students need more reading skills than the quick quizzes provide. I feel like the depth of knowledge level is low on the quick quiz questions.

Seamless after a few days and a second try!

Instructionally sound, rich primary and secondary sources to supplement instruction.

I have enjoyed sharing the resources on this site for years. High quality imagery that support student learning.
