Needed to replace a lost part
Needed to replace a lost part. Website easy to navigate. Had all spare parts available. Also saw newest designs that were great for not losing parts in the dark. Brilliant service. Fast and personable. Hope they invent other products as good as this one.

Whilst the idea is good
Whilst the idea is good, I found the different components fiddly to set up. 500 ml capacity is ok for one emergency, but too small for a whole night, for example. Whilst camping with no running water, having to wash out the whizzer constantly is not easy. I went back to using a plastic jug. Much easier.

Hi Penny, Thanks for leaving your review and sharing your honest thoughts. I’m glad you liked the concept, but I’m so sorry to hear you found the setup fiddly and the capacity tricky while camping.
Every single component and dimension of the Whizzer has been purposefully designed with practical reasons in mind. The Whizzer is specifically designed as a compact, single-use emergency solution to get you out of a tight spot, whether in the car, on a trip, or late at night. If it were designed to hold multiple uses for a full night without emptying, it would have to be huge, heavy, and impossible to hold comfortably or discreetly beneath you.
On top of that, as an inventor who works closely with medical professionals and those using it for medical purposes, I intentionally capped the capacity because holding more than 700ml in your bladder puts unsafe pressure on the muscle, which can lead to long-term bladder damage over time.
Regarding the parts, once you get the knack, assembling it takes about 15 seconds. It’s designed with detachable parts so every piece can be thoroughly sanitised, replaced, or swapped out (like using the glow-in-the-dark options). Thanks again for the feedback, and I hope this gives a bit of insight into the thought process behind my invention and if the jug fails to provide the same contoured comfort, leak-proof and sealable solution to the whizzer then hopefully you can return it it when needed.
Issues resolved very quickly
I had some issues with assembly of the Whizzer, but my queries were answered very promptly, and replacement parts arrived quickly.
Seems to work very well, and packs up into a handy bag.

Not ideal
The glow in the dark is brilliant. The fact it’s made of silicon makes it not as easy to hold and put the lid on in a way that feels secure. The biggest size is only big enough for one whizz . The attachment for females is good but to fit it onto the locating holes in the middle of the night is awkward. And if you want to put the lid back on, you have to take the attachment off which you have to put somewhere, which feels unhygienic.

I completely understand how setting it up in the dark can feel awkward at first, but every material and feature on the Whizzer was chosen for a very specific reason. I deliberately chose high-grade, sustainable silicone over cheap, hard plastic so that the spout is soft, flexible, and comfortable enough to form a secure seal for women, preventing leaks regardless of flow. Hard plastic just couldn't provide that anatomical fit or withstand high-temperature dishwasher cleaning or continued long term use without retaining odours.
The detachable spout attachment is meant for comfort and to ensure the leak-proof element can do it's job without anything obstructing it. When you're done, the idea is to simply pinch and remove the spout, pop it directly into the carry bag, and push the leak-proof lid onto the container base in it's place. The pinching from the outside means you don't touch the part where urine could have splashed and as you would usually have a tissue for any toilet use that can be used if necessary. The push-on lid, means there is no screwing needed, is quicker and creates an airlock that can not created with a plastic alternative. To make sure you feel 100% confident with constructing it, if you don't have the instructions leaflet I added in with your order or you missed the email I sent this link, do take a quick look at my video demo here: https://thewhizzer.co/pages/whizzer-info. Once you’ve done it a couple of times, it takes just seconds and becomes second nature, far quicker than trekking to a portaloo.
In terms of size, the capacity is capped for a number of reasons. If it were designed to hold multiple uses for a full night without emptying, it would have to be huge, heavy, and impossible to hold comfortably or discreetly beneath you. Also for medical reasons, holding a volume larger than 700ml places too much strain on the bladder muscle, so the Whizzer is designed to be emptied after use rather than stored as a multi-use toilet.

Genuinely one of my fave bits of kit for camping! I got one to use for several camps over summer and used it every time! So much easier than trekking out of the tent in the middle of the night! Easy to clean and packs down small!

Easy to order and was sent quickly. Bought to have on camping trips, although I can see it may be useful on other scenarios. Not tried it out yet but hoping it will prove useful on next camping trip. I like that it collapses down smaller for packing. I'm hoping it is robust enough to cope with the folding up and down as I have other collapsible camping gear that have cracked and worn down on the fold after several openings. I feel it's a bit expensive for what it is.

Good service but product difficult to use
Writing this as an adult female buyer, purchased the product (XL Whizzer Adult) for use in a campervan. Online service was great but unfortunately I found it extremely difficult and uncomfortable physically to use. Used the product multiple times over two weeks.
The main issue is that the product is lightweight and flexible. So it doesn’t stand securely on its own when used, the silicone folds in on itself when you try to use it. The whole thing particularly when empty feels unstable, particularly when any weight is applied. I was worried it would tip over.
Personally I think the funnel/spout is too small and didn’t feel confident or comfortable using it. In practice, I found I had to squat down not putting any weight on the product, while simultaneously holding it against my body to keep it in place. This made the whole process very awkward and an uncomfortable position.
I can see how this would be useful for children when a parent can help hold it in place but as an adult the item is too flexible and bendy to use comfortably or confidently on your own. The item is 100% leak proof which is good.
Do not recommend! For me, it was genuinely easier to just do a wild wee than try to use this!

Hi Emma, thank-you for taking the time to leave multiple reviews. I am slightly confused by the method you are describing and after reading repeatedly I fear you have not been using it correctly. This is not a product that would be placed on the floor or sat on and therefore doesn't need to take any weight. It is called a handheld toilet because it designed to be held beneath you. I'm sorry if that was not made clear. I put an instruction leaflet inside the box and there is a link to the video demonstration to show how it is put together but as you can see by the hundreds of women who have found this to be a game-changing solution and the only one that moulds to actually fit beneath a women capturing any splashes and securing the fluid unlike any alternative, it continues to be a saviour. And I hope I can support you so it can be this for you too. As the inventor and a female myself I designed it with women and girls in mind. Wild wees and squatting over toilet seats are messy and unhygienic and should not be our only option. I have mobility issues due to a prolapsed disc and at times like now where I simply can not even lower myself down onto the toilet and a squat would be out of the question, the whizzer is what I use much like the huge communities of women I have who are debilitated by a range of medical conditions. So if you would like to get in touch I'd be more than happy to talk you through how to use it as intended but if the product is simply not for you then you are still welcome to contact me as I could have resolved this issue for you very quickly by responding to any of the emails you receive from me after purchasing. Revolutionised my camping experience
As a mature lady its always been annoying to have to get out of the tent in the night. In Scotland we have to run the gauntlet of the dreaded midge.
I bought the Whizzer last month and used it for a 3 night camp where I was a long way from the toilet block. It has revolutionised my camping experience!
Did have to adjust position and not use the traditional squat.. but it def works.
One happy lady!!

Fantastic product
What a brilliant product! I got one of these as a toilet "backup" for using in my campervan and it worked perfectly.
I went for the standard 500ml option which turned out to be a little close to getting full on a couple of occasions. Not a fault of the product, it just turns out that I have a big bladder! When ordering, if you've any doubt on the size you need ... for a few extra quid, go XL!
I'll definitely be ordering again :)
