KESOM FREIGHT INTERNATIONAL Arvostelua 5

I needed to send a package from UK to Kenya: a low value box containing a number of small bottles with liquid inside and a couple of other items. The big commercial brands said no to liquids so I decided to try Kesom. Their WhatsApp approach worked well for communication and the package arrived as promised, unopened and complete, damage free.
The only reason I'm giving them 4 rather than 5 stars, is because of their highly informal approach - no waybill number nor paperwork, until you pay the bill at the other end to receive your package. This was a bit disconcerting compared with the standard courier approach. However, if you accept this then they provide an economical door-to-door service.

I've been using Kesom Freight for over nine years and they've always provided an excellent service. Despite recent tough times this continues. My goods arrived in Nairobi yesterday and I couldn't be happier.

I recently used Kesom International to send a TV, and 3 other boxes from London to Kenya.
The TV and other items arrived within the agreed time and everything seemed normal however the TV, once opened was found to have a large crack down the middle of the screen and isn't turning on as a result. This is despite it being wrapped in the original box and once again with protective film.

Now I checked the TV before it was picked up by kesom and it worked fine and was in a  perfect condition, as it was purchased for this sole reason. I then wrapped it myself. This issue has occurred during transit.

In regards to the price I was given a quote before paying for the goods of just over £250 to send everything, however this was suddenly changed to over £500 as the size of the TV was used to determine a price, instead of the weight (25kg). Whilst I had a problem with this and saw it as dishonest after already telling me a price after discussing what was being sent, the items where still sent using kesom.

I have tried to speak and email kesom and have only receieve emails saying nothing will be done on their end. I was given the contact details of a supposed manager called Abdi, who has ignored me messages and calls for a week, despite being told via email he is aware of my issues.

This is the worst experience I have seen of not just a freight International company, but general customer service, terrible experience.

I have used Kesom Freight International since 2013 and they have always delivered my shipments on time not once have i ever had anything go missing or broken. I genuinely believe that there is no better company to ship large orders from the UK to Kenya in such a safe, efficient and competitive manner.

I have never used KFI before, it was my first time. I was quite anxious. I would like to thank Tahira for allaying my fears, reassuring me from the start, even when the clearing was delayed on the other side.
My item was recieved intact and am a happy customer. Thank you.
