The delivery system and customer call center are terrible. Ordered items to arrive b4 easter and I was the one to keep p.following p with my order and the driver only to say that he cant come.to.deliver the order... for t to be delivered after 2 days....

Sometimes the products advertised on the company's site are very much different from the products delivered

Don't do business with Evolve Enterprises through Jumia. They offer items after purchase, wait a week, cancel your order, and then offer the exact same item again, but then double the price, thinking you're an idiot for buying it. Beware, they're scammers.

I purchased an Oppo F11 8GB RAM 128GB ROM in December 2025. You play a video clip it blacks out, you go to TikTok it blacks out
The phone blacks out at 60% battery and sometimes at 15% battery. When making phone calls I have to use loud speaker for the one I am speaking with to hear me well. I threw its packaging, because I was not hoping the unfortunate to Happen. I was not expecting the phone to experience the technical saga after just few days of use. Many people experience problems with the items sold on Jumia Uganda platform

I have shopped on Jumia several times. They are always efficient in their service delivery. The items or products you order online come exact as they are being advertised on their website.
Jumia also gives you room for returning the goods back once they dont reach customer satisfaction and they refund back your money.

If I could give zero stars I would. Jumia is the most careless and customer-unfriendly company I’ve ever dealt with. They sent me a blender with screws already popped out, the delivery driver Asiimwe arrogantly refused to let me inspect it and just drove off, and despite paying two separate delivery fees for two products they dumped everything together in one delivery – basically charging me twice. Their customer service is useless: no solutions, no compensation, not even a shred of sympathy. All they offered was empty apologies they read from a script and instructions to return the faulty product at my own expense. Jumia is nothing but stress, disappointment, and wasted money – avoid them at all costs.

Totally fraudulent and pathetic service. DO NOT USE JUMIA UGANDA. Order product, they dribble you around for days saying it's being shipped, it's being delivered, yet they don't even have the product in stock. Eventually they tell you that they will cancel the order and refund you, yet they don't. They don't respond to any communication and now one has to litigate to get my monies back. Pathetic Fraudsters Jumia Uganda are.

This is by far the most fraud company I've ever seen, I ordered for a retro mac lipstick (Ruby woo) So they have the most fake lipstick that can't last for even 6mins, it becomes greesy and patchy till it gets off.yet Ruby woo is supposed to be matte.imagine it's 100k but jumia why would you do this to your customers who choose to support you????

Great deals on the website, but don't ever expect delivery unless you live next door to their offices!

In 10 days they were not able to get anyone in the whole country to deliver a package (Order number 309422713) to an address just 25 km from their offices. Even I can get someone to drive the same distance and deliver a package within a couple of hours (works great with Jiji) but Jumia can only talk, "escalate the case" and send lots of messages about "delivery today!". You can call them as many times as you desire - but still nothing happens.

Jumia would be a great case for a television comedy show, but if you want to actually receive what you buy, I would advise you to stay far away from this clown show and buy somewhere else.

Worst/Fraudulent service ever! Will deduct and not reimburse uncompleted orders.

Horrible! I recently made 2 orders. It's been such a challenge returning one of them - the person meant to pick it up hasn't showed up in days. The other was ordered on 9th November and I haven't received it despite initial promised delivery within 8 hours.

Delivery is timely, but the products are not well packed, the packaging is removed and the product sometimes look used. I ordered for ear phones and a TV power guard, and they were delivered in a plastic bag The TV guard lasted only 3 weeks and does not work anymore. Same applies to the sandwich maker. Please improve on the packaging and product quality

2 items were missing from the delivery. I contacted Jumia.ug, the issue was escalated to the relevant department for follow up and would get a feedback within 16 business hour. After 16 hours I contacted them again and got a similar response to wait for another 16 hrs. After a week I got an email, that I had requested to return the missing items. How can I return items that were never delivered?
