Took hours to do a basic service, asked for tires to be replaced and waited and additional 90minutes only to be told they couldn't do it. Wasted an entire day at a very basic service

Experience was below expectations.

Sad experience waited very long for no one to see us and the receptionist didn’t even acknowledge us just sat there with her shoes off, on her phone.

Absolutely disappointed with Kia Douglas garage, every time I used their service every time my car comes out with new problems.
I have Kia Sorento 2024 it’s a new car , I went for first service after buying brand new car, seemed all went well , only after bout a week I noticed my folding seat button wasn’t working , so I rang them requesting for check up , after a day they said it’s fixed , but only fold up handle was fixed not actual button on the seat, so I rand again they said they will order new one, and that went forever never got call back, now I was due a second service, same requested for seat button to be repaired/replaced, they kept My car for 24 hours, then told me it’s ready ,I collected car and same button wasn’t fixed, rang them at this point they put my name on call back, never received the call, bout couple weeks after service my car turbo failed just JUST AFTER SERVICE WOW a new car THATS A MAGICAL , I rang and was ignored, and was told mechanic will ring back , but ofcourse never did , after I send a email I got response, so they tuck my car in, my car was in dealership for 5 and half weeks, after 5 and half weeks they ringing me and notified me that my car has flat tyre, wow I was shocked that it tuck 5 weeks to let me know of such, they said it needs a new tire I specifically requested to be replaced with a same tyre as my 3 tyres brand , but ofcourse they had to ignore that too and they fit some kind of cheap brand, and ofcourse my seat button never was fixed, now they promised me that they order the button and as soon it arrives they will replace it, guess what still waiting , not only now my wiper washer doesn’t work too since car collection, I thought water tank is empty or clogged but no it’s leaking under the bonnet, so I guess when they fitted turbo washer got disconnected, they even left my coolant nearly empty neither offered to top up etc neither topped up add blue same neither rang or offered to top up. And again I’m waiting for call back till this day. Very irresponsible and unprofessional garage I’m absolutely disappointed, at this stage I thinking to take the garage to a legal matter, I had 3 Kia‘s previously and never had such problems with any of my Sorentos, and Douglas cork garage was a new garage for me ,with all the reviews I would never believed that I gonna get this unlucky.
I do not recommend this garage.

I purchased a new Peugeot 408 from Johnson & Perrott in Mahon, Cork two months ago, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. This is actually the second car I’ve bought from this company, which says a lot about the level of service they provide.

From start to finish, everything was handled quickly, professionally, and without any issues or delays. I mostly dealt with Richie, who was very professional, helpful, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.

I really appreciated the clear communication and how easy they made everything. I would also like to thank all the staff involved in the process for their excellent service.

The showrooms are excellent, airy and comfortable even if the coffee machine is not always working. The reception, sales and service personnel are friendly and helpful. The service is carried out well and quickly. The missing star is the horrendous car parking. There are cars everywhere and it is extremely difficult to find a space and park avoiding any damage. A nightmare you dread before visiting the JPMG site(s)

Got a minor job done on my vehicle during work lunch, Service Dept was able to facilitate this no problem, in and out in 20 minutes.

Garage initially having trouble diagnosing problem, however, staff very accommodating and front of house exceptional. Arranged a courtesy vehicle until problem fixed and car returned.
