It is disappointing to see some recent negative reviews about the Jorja Emerson Centre. I have been a patient of Dr. Searle since February. My initial experience was great and Dr. Searle has been fantastic. There have been a few issues recently, which has been obvious. It is also obvious to me that there are great people there working hard to deal with these issues. This is a very new industry, so there will inevitably be some glitches in the early days. Ultimately the poeple at this clinic are trying hard to provide an incredibly effective medication to patients with a range of health issues, which simply was not available to us until recently. My medication supply issues have just been resolved and I believe this will continue. Please give this clinic your support. We need clinics like this to succeed.
I want to start off by saying Dr Louisa Searle is phenomenal, a breath of fresh air in the healthcare industry. I've battled mental health services for years and never felt heard or understood; 45 minute intial consultation with the Dr and I get a report that is so personal and insightful I was a little overwhelmed. Every interaction with her has been great!
The clinic itself is a dangerous, near scam. It started well, over a year ago but since Christmas they have taken on far too many patients and quite clearly overwhelmed themselves. Throw in poor attrition and telephone staff with genuinely zero empathy and it's a perfect storm. Mistakes happen constantly, staff lie all the time, same lies, over and over. Nothing ever gets followed up, you won't be called or emailed back despite their promises. Good luck getting an appointment and you'll need more luck to keep a regular script, the delays can creep into over a month, just getting the prescription signed and sent to the pharmacy! Makes it impossible to keep a regular supply and will exacerbate any condition you're trying to treat, honestly.
Other clinics don't rate amazingly either so, good luck wherever you go but, be aware.

So here I am, writing this review because I’m out of medication and until I receive it I will be in agony!
Why am I out of medication? After all, I’ve requested a repeat 2.5 weeks in advance.
Because JORJA LIED AGAIN and the PHARMACY NEVER RECEIVED PRESCRIPTION FROM THEM, AGAIN.
At Jorja, they don’t seem to care about continuity in medicine supply at all.
YOU WILL END UP GOING THROUGH WITHDRAWALS FROM MEDS DUE TO LACK OF CONTINUITY.
This is in addition to whatever you are suffering from: pain, anxiety, insomnia, etc…

I've been a patient of this practice for just under a year. I paid an annual fee.
Repeat prescriptions are delayed on a regular basis, I've received the meds on time literally 2 times since joining.
For instance, this time I’ve called Jorja a week before running out enquiring why there is no prescription ready in the portal (ordered 2.5 wks ago). As always, they’ve assured me that everything is at hand and prescription has been sent.
Only it wasn’t, again.
They will send out prescription whenever, not when you need it.
Service received from doctors and pharmacists as well as appointment mechanism are generally good, no complaints.
Absolutely well and truly annoyed. I was taken care of for the first 2 months and then went to pot, excuse the pun. The doctor prescribed me stuff that wasn't in stock 2 months in a row and this last time I have been waiting 10 days and still can't get an answer out of them when I call and I'm still waiting. If this was my blood pressure medicine I would be in big trouble. Their system of check yourself if it's in stock doesn't work because I checked and it was. I don't feel there is any care whatsoever and the people I speak to don't even seem bothered I've gone nearly 2 weeks with no medication
Experience with JEC started out great over a year ago, and I’m sure many people will have similar accounts. They have had taken a dramatic downturn in recent months, and have been consistently unable to provide the most basic level of care without an insane amount of patient intervention. Appointments take weeks to book (if possible at all) and their level of communication is in the dirt - changing appointment times and patient policy without a hint of contact.
They appear to be haemorrhaging clinical staff and crucially, are unable to replace them, (perhaps due to plummeting reputation) and so staff on the phones seem to be the only individuals that actually work there. And while some are friendly, plenty seem uninterested, grossly uninformed and ultimately unhelpful - hung out to dry by faceless incompetent management.
All shaping up to be another disingenuous cash grab clinic capitalising on the needs of a specific patient group, without even the slightest care for them. Even more sickening is that this pantomime of healthcare is conducted under the name of the MDs unwell daughter.
If you’re looking to begin your medical cannabis journey or just scoping out a new clinic for private healthcare, no doubt you would’ve read good and bad about many other options - but please, avoid JEC. They will take your money and that’s about it at this point. You will have to battle monthly for the most basic level of service. The additional stress caused by JEC when trying to obtain necessary prescribed medication is simply not worth it.
AVOID.
Firstly, I feel like the good reviews on here recently are fake. There is no chance this company is capable of providing a service that good, people want to leave a Trustpilot review. If they are providing that good of a service, then they are neglecting the rest of their patients.
Shocking customer service, non existent. Please do not go with this clinic for your own sanity. The people on the phone have no empathy at all and do not care for your situation, even though we are literally paying them for the service. Very unorganized and understaffed. Numerous issues each month which they either blame the pharmacies for or blame yourself. Have been putting my requests in with multiple weeks to spare, they are still never on time.
Have been with JEC for around 10 months. Mostly a smooth process and professional up until recently.. I have found the video call once kind of awkward and a bit cold but that's maybe just one of these things. In any case my most recent experience is not a good one.
I made a mistake and forgot to book a video call which is where this starts to fall apart even with plenty of time for things to be fixed unfortunately there just wasn't a date available between 7th July and 20th July so I had to book 24th after the date I'd run out.. around the 20th (also in line with previous months and hardly like I was requesting sooner) So I filled out their prescription request form as normal and explained the situation.. no response.
So I got in touch via email on the 9th and explained again. I was assured by Alfie that 'we will process this as an interim prescription,' this simply did not happen. I know it usually is sent to me digitally so I chased it on the 15th and was told on the 16th by Ramla 'Your prescription is in the process of been written today. Once completed, you will receive a digital scan copy of your script.' NEVER HAPPENED. So I left it an extra day and chased it on the 18th the last day I believed this could be rectified.. only to get reply 19th being too late as 20th being a Saturday and told this.. 'I’ll do everything I can to expedite the process and ensure everything is sorted before the 20th. I’ll keep you updated on the status and let you know as soon as it’s been processed.' why say this when it's simply impossible and then never follow it up. Never happened anyway. So at this point I don't think it's even been written despite the promise and I've basically been lied too and fobbed off. I can't say how unimpressed I am with the service. Lack of available video appointments..lack of presumably clinical pharmacists..and lack of clear honest replies in this case.
So now I have a migraine and no medication. I am very aware I made a mistake but I did everything I could to make sure this wouldn't affect me poorly. The migraine is probably also triggered from anxiety related to this experience. Ideal. I may have to look around.
EDIT;-
They never did actually complete any interim anything. Supposedly just a mistake but overall quite a large one and I don't feel like I was listened too at all. I knew it wasn't completed. Categorically lied too basically. Still not sure how long I will hang about here.
Avoid unless you like constant problems not had a reply to my last 5 emails be expecting a call back for over 2 weeks constantly having to call with still no joy
I am a very new patient, having just completed the process I found it very easy to apply, I was originally concerned about my consultation due to previous Doctors and the way I’ve be treated before for medicinal cannabis but immediately I felt comfortable and understood it was such relief to be listened to! The speed was also very fast from first consultation to delivery of first prescription in a few weeks I’m very pleased so far!
Fantastic service on a budget, very helpfull, Dr Searle really listened to my experience and helped explain things very well,
Ramla has been extremely helpful and made the Most recent experience a delight, the whole staff are very nice friendly people and always seam to do their best!

Mistakes on prescription ie: spelling mistakes and doctor not signing the script before sent to pharmacy. Jorja are also liars said they would get prescription to my pharmacy by Friday and only sent 1st class so not guaranteed to arrive next day. Absoultely useless gone down hill what do I pay a private prescription for if my clinic can't even sort my prescription out right.

The entire team at the Jorja Emerson are extremely professional and always sort any worries you may have.
The team are all excellent so I won’t single anyone out. Every person who has dealt with me has been excellent.
I’ve had one issue with specials pharmacy (a third party pharmacy the clinic deal with) they lost my oil and it took months to resolve then they contacted me with oil I didn’t have prescribed. It has nothing to do with Jorja Emerson as they changed my pharmacy immediately and I’ve not had any issues since.
If you need to use these kind of services, i recommend Jorja emerson. The are efficient and easy to deal with. Ive been with them over 6 months now and have no intention of leaving.

Unfortunately the other 1 star reviews are true. I switched clinics to Jorja Emerson after having terrible communication issues, patient services having no empathy and serious delays in receiving my medication. I am day 3 of being told my prescription has been posted to the pharmacy and the pharmacy has confirmed that they have not received it. The only reason I know that my prescription has not been received is because I am having to call every day and confirm that the pharmacy has not received it. I have asked for a complaint to be passed on a manager contact me but when I ask to speak with a manager I am told that they are unavailable and can only speak in a few days. I have called today and asked for the tracking number as I have been reassured that it was sent on Thursday but now apparently there is no one who can give me the tracking number. On top of this, I received the prescription of another patient to my document portal. I have asked the patient services multiple times if there is problems with my prescription or Jorja Emerson and every time I am told no, when there clearly is problems. For the fourth time I have guaranteed that my prescription will be delivered tomorrow so I will have to hold out and see. I have also been told a manager will contact me as soon as they can, so I am holding out on that too. I am really disappointed with the service I have received.
Just started with Jorja Emerson Centre and have absolutely no complaints!
I switched from another medical cannabis provider and was concerned about the length of time it would take to get registered with Jorja Emerson, however they reassured me it should only take 2-3 weeks and within 2 I was sorted and my first prescription was on its way!
The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. I got so much useful information during my initial consultation, which I did not receive in my previous clinic such as always having some CBD around in case of negative side effects, what to do if you get dizzy on medication etc.
My experience with my previous clinic compared to Jorja Emerson are like night and day. Could not recommend Jorja Emerson enough!!!!

First signed up with JEC in October 2023 and overall, the experience has been great! The staff are polite, knowledgeable, and helpful (big shout out to Dr Searle and Kenneth).
I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants to explore CBMPs for their medical conditions.
