I was definitely in a pinch for cash
I was definitely in a pinch for cash, and maaaan, did they come through! I spent about 30 minutes maybe even an hour scrolling through other BS apps, with no help. I luckily found this one, and boom. The approval was quick. The advance wasn’t what I expected or wanted, but in a pinch, it helped. You have to purchase from the store to unlock credit, but I just used it for stuff I need for my home anyway. The shipping can be a bit pricey, but again, in a pinch, it does work.

Advance Pros and cons
I did not like that you had to spend most of your advance on things you didn’t have in mind prior to applying for the advance but they still give you something so it’s fine. I requested an extension on my loan repayment due to not receiving the order I purchased and was immediately helped by Jonas.

Thank you for sharing your honest experience — we truly appreciate it.
Gerald combines Buy Now, Pay Later and Cash Advance services: you use part of your advance to shop in our e-store, and after your purchase, enjoy a fee-free Cash Advance transfer to your bank — with no upfront payments, no out-of-pocket cost, no interest, no subscriptions, and no late fees. We're sorry if this isn't currently aligned with your needs.
We're also really glad Jonas was able to help you extend the repayment — that's exactly the kind of support we aim to provide.

Positive experience
I’ve had a genuinely positive experience using the Gerald app. The platform is intuitive, efficient, and designed with the user in mind, especially during moments when financial flexibility is most needed. What truly sets Gerald apart, however, is its thoughtful extension policy. Life can be unpredictable, and having the ability to extend a repayment date provides a level of reassurance and support that many other apps simply do not offer.
I would also like to commend the exceptional customer service—particularly my interaction with Jonas. He was professional, understanding, and handled my concerns with both efficiency and empathy. It’s rare to find that level of care in financial services today.
Overall, Gerald stands out as a reliable and user-focused solution for short-term financial needs, combining convenience with genuine support.
