John Doe Carpets and Furniture Ltd Arvostelua

Brilliant service and Jack was an absolute master at fitting our new wood floor. Was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He went out his way to make sure everything was perfect.

What a lovely experience, my first time visiting the store.
Kind friendly people.
Acknowledgement that I was there but was given plenty of time to browse.
I enjoyed some time in the lovely coffee shop area.
Very helpful, I would definitely go back

Despite some delays, we are very pleased with our new flooring. The screeders did an excellent job and Jack (our fitter) worked very hard and did a great job of laying the flooring. He is a tidy worker and even cleaned the floor when he had finished!

Mark and George arrived on time and worked without stopping until the job was finished! Did a good job of fitting the carpets and cleared up!

Great service and workmanship from start to finish, I’ve been using this company for almost 40 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Always fantastic service at John Doe, all staff are very helpful and delivery team very friendly and efficient.

Excellent company, very helpful. Furniture delivered and assembled without a problem.
I would highly recommend

Once again, great service from John Doe. Having ordered a new carpet, the measurer identified two faults for a carpenter to fix. He came and fixed one fault efficiently and effectively; the carpet fitters, who allocated two days to the job, finished in just over four hours and did a first class job. The carpenter then returned and fixed the remaining fault. All was done to my satisfaction. Well done.

Many thanks to Simon & Scott who delivered my sofa back to me today. They are a great team, friendly & helpful & made sure sofa was assembled correctly & working properly. Also thank you to Dom, Service Technician, for such a high standard repair. Finally thank you to John Doe & Claire in customer services who organised this internal repair after the manufacture refused to help despite sofa being just 2 months old. Fantastic customer service across the company

Scott and Simon were extremely professional and friendly. They had my stressless chair set up really quickly. It was a pleasure to deal with such polite young men. Thank you.

We honestly can't recommend John Doe of Diss highly enough.

From the moment you walk in, it's a gorgeous store with so much to look at. It's spacious, spotless, well laid out and has a large area dedicated to discounted products, making it easy to browse without feeling overwhelmed.

What really stood out to us, though, was the staff. Every single member of the team we dealt with – from reception, sales assistants on the shop floor, cafe staff and the workmen – were an absolute pleasure. Whether we spoke to them over the phone with questions or face to face, everyone was friendly, approachable, knowledgeable and genuinely happy to help. There was never any pressure to buy; we were able to take our time looking around, and staff were always nearby to answer questions when we needed them.

We originally went in to look at carpets and ended up leaving with an appointment for a home measure, a new office chair and an absolutely delicious lunch from the in-store café, Angela's - the goat's cheese panini is to die for! ... In fact, we've since driven the 45 minutes back several times just for brunch because it's that good!

The flooring department has an incredible range of carpets and flooring to choose from. Being able to take large samples to take home made such a difference, especially for someone as indecisive as me! Seeing them in our own home and in different lighting really helped us make the right decision.

A special mention also goes to the flooring team (sorry I haven't got your names!), Danny, who carried out the home measure, and to Simon E. and Prez, who fitted our carpets. They were all fantastic – professional, friendly, punctual and clearly took pride in their work. The fitting was completed to a really high standard, and we're absolutely delighted with the finished result.

Overall, excellent customer service from start to finish, fantastic products, a brilliant café and a team that genuinely seems to enjoy what they do. We couldn't be happier with our carpets and can't wait to enjoy them in our new home. We'd happily recommend John Doe - they make you feel like a valued customer rather than just another sale. Thanks all!

Excellent service. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. Simon, Scott and Lucas were thoughtful, removing their shoes to protect carpets, put the furniture where asked and showed great care in moving it in. Cheerful to boot. A great advertisement for John Doe.

Simon, Scott and Lucas were super efficient and professional. Everything in its place and took all the packaging away. Another great experience with John Does

Simon and Scott absolutely so helpful today. Wonderful all round experience from John Doe from start to finish.
Thank you

Stuart was very helpful and polite and helped us with our purchase
The cafe Angela’s is also a nice place to visit while in the store for a loverly meal or just a coffee.

Excellent delivery from Simon and Scott.
They phoned ahead to advise their arrival time and were very careful and considerate when bringing the corner settee suite into the house. Assembled and removed all packaging and positioned settee exactly where we wanted it. Great service from a great team.

I purchased a unit from John Doe.
The gentleman serving was very polite.
Our delivery men Scott and Simon this morning were very polite and helpful.
They called me prior the delivery explaining their arrival time.
They carried the unit in for me and placed it into position.
I will highly recommend.😀

Really helpful and friendly staff
Well laid out store

The John Doe team were excellent from start to finish from a very knowledgeable Simon in the Flooring department who spent a long time with us to get the right carpet for our needs to Damon in the office who kept us informed about our order to James and Freddie who fitted the carpet with great professionalism. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family. It’s so nice to have a real family firm to deal with in these days of multi national companies.

Scot and Simon were in and out in 10 minutes, brilliant service
