I went into the Navan showroom the week before Christmas to look at an ID4,I ended up paying a deposit on an ID5,I stressed from the start I needed the car in January,the car was supposedly in the German port and I was told I would have it mid January,I was happy with that,I went into the showroom mid January and was told the car wouldn’t be in Ireland until 31st January and it would be with them a week later,I wasn’t happy with this but felt I’d no choice only wait,I mailed the salesman 30th January for an update and got the reply ‘all cars take approximately 12-16 weeks from order date but sometimes a bit sooner,it’s looking like end of Feb or worst case March,fingers crossed it will come soon’
That was a very different story from what I was told the first day,I went round to the showroom and spoke to the manager,I told him I wasn’t happy with that and wanted my money back,he asked me to hold off till Tuesday and he would try and get more information and ring me,it’s now Thursday night and needless to say he didn’t ring,this mess has caused me endless hassle already,and no end in sight,I wish I’d stayed away from Joe Duffy motors,I certainly won’t be dealing with them again.

UPDATE: it’s now 6th March and I’m no further on,it’s on the way and should be here soon is all I’m hearing for several weeks,total shambles!

My car was in for its annual check. Everybody I dealt with were extremely friendly and efficient. The waiting area is comfortable with complimentary cofee and newspapers. My main dealings were with Alyssa who was excellent John Mac Inerney

I bought a car for my wife here recently and couldn’t praise the experience highly enough from the salesman Narcis to the finance manager Amanda who made everything seamless and delivered on everything we agreed on. Well done Joe Duffy group on your very professional staff !

Had a really bad experience with getting my car repair done at kia airside.
Garage had my car for a total of 2 months to repair a motor from the start they didn't keep me informed there customer service is so bad please don't use this garage as they very unprofessional.

I went into Joe Duffy in Limerick to test the waters before making a decision about a buying a new A5.
I like to see what kind of service I will get before dropping 60k on a car.

And it was BAD.

A receptionist (not a mechanic) told me that they "cannot look at diagnostic codes from imported cars because they use completely different software".

I then gave her a chance to withdraw that obvious rubbish by pointing out I had successfully used my own VCDS system to interrogate the car and I knew the issue (which is a known issue) already.

She repeated the same nonsense about being "unable to read the diagnostics", they could do mechanical work only. If they do mechanical work without checking for diagnostic codes afterwards to ensure the car is correctly working, that's not only worrying. But pathetically inept and unprofessional.

If they can't do a simple job like check a Turbo actuator ....she did tell me they just replace them..... sure, lets drop €800 on replacing a component that might just need adjustment... but whatever, it's just the clients money after all)!

Terrible experience with the service department. Booked car in for service and had asked for wipers to be replaced which should have been covered under the service plan. This was checked at the time of booking and confirmed by the service department. When the car was collected the wipers were not replaced during the service as there was none in stock. Was not advised of this prior to collecting the car. The agent then wanted to close the booking and replace the wipers in the following year service! Eventually it was agreed that the wipers would be ordered and I will be contacted when they arrive from Sweden. Over 3 weeks had passed and no call whatsoever. When I called today I was advised the wipers had arrived but when it was being collected I was then told it was not covered under the service plan! It's ridiculous that this was only advised now...when this should have been checked and advised at the time of booking the car in for service!
This is not about getting free wipers, the cost is not the issue otherwise I wouldn't be driving a Volvo but its the lack of communication and being given a false pretense that something is covered when it wasnt and to add wasting time waiting for something then going to collect it to be the told its not covered. We have 3 Volvos in the family and have purchased a car from Joe Duffy Airside last year. This will be the last time I or anyone in my family will be coming back here again. Ridiculous customer service. Avoid!!

Brought the car to the Joe Duffy BMW bodyshop for a few small marks on wheels to be repaired. Cleared the car of all property before dropping off except for a cheap phone mount which has to be screwed into the air vents. Went to pick car up next day and yes you guessed it the phone mount was no longer in the car. A thief amongst the staff. Beware.

Went to Audi Approved Drogheda today. First of all I tried ringing all morning to see if it would be possible to take a car for a test drive couldn't get through. Drove up and no one at reception .Two people were dealing with one gentleman for ages. I was ignored. I took a walk around the floor and one guy on sales Sat on his phone chatting. After a while I asked the girl dealing with the man along with another member of staff if anyone was free. She went over to the guy still chatting away on the phone. She told me she told him I was waiting. After another good 7 or 8 minutes still no sign of anyone coming to me so I said I'd go. The sales guy still on the phone ...no one there to help. They obviously aren't interested in selling any cars. When I told the girl I was leaving she just stood there, didnt say give me your name or number and I'll get him to call you. A sham of a business.....you lost out on a genuine car enquiry today and possible sale of car. Very unprofessional operation.

Recently I went into Joe Duffy Charlestown just to have a look and I upgraded on the spot when I got chatting with Korretta.

Korretta listened to what I had to say and what I wanted as I need my car for my job.
She sat me down and went through lists of cars and colours with me and it was honestly stress free.
I was hesitant to go back here as I previously had a bad experience but after dealing with Korretta I would definitely be going back when it’s time to upgrade again.
Her handover was 100% she went through every detail of the car and I was previously driving the same car for 3 years and she told me things I didn’t even know 😅 which explains how bad my handover was 3 years ago.

10/10 for customer service she really went above and beyond and she makes a great coffee.

Was able to get service done quickly, Monika at Joe Duffy Charlestown was very helpful and pleasant! The price was also a lot better than competitor.

Jordan Cullen and David are so professional, so organised and kept me up to date on each step. The car was handed over impecable from any poit of view. Well done David and Jordan!!!

Left car in for manufacture re call...what a sham .and waste of time... reception isn't really reception ..they just ask you to take seat before they bring you over to 'real' reception ...all of 10 yds away (must been customers getting lost in between) .where you can take a seat while they get the details they already have before "doing the paperwork"..that requires a signature . If ever proof was needed that the lunatics (idiots)had taken over the asylum ...

I purchased a used vehicle from Joe Duffy Group and what followed has been a nightmare. The car had technical issues from the start, and while it spent over a week in their service department, no resolution came until I refused to take it back.

Worse, I discovered that the car was still linked to previous users' email accounts — meaning someone else had access to its location, driving data, and could even remotely unlock it. This is a clear and unacceptable breach of GDPR and my personal privacy.

Despite raising these serious concerns, I’ve been ignored, pressured to accept inadequate refunds, and even threatened with storage charges while the issue remains unresolved. Two weeks without a car, hundreds in transport costs, and zero accountability from their side.

I’m deeply disappointed by how I’ve been treated and cannot recommend this company based on my experience. I’ve filed complaints with the appropriate authorities.

It's taken me a while but had to as experience was atrocious. I have an error on my dash. Went to Joe Duffy BMW service to get diagnosis (only) to see what issue could be. The guy (Dominykas Prielaidas) quoted me a price of 178 euros for the diagnostics, and said if it was less I would only be charged the time-spent cost. I rang to say I was stuck in Dublin traffic, but imagine my surprise when the guy told me the price was now 225 euros and I was not getting my car until I paid, and he was in a rush so car might be locked up for night!! I live in Monaghan!!!
To add insult to injury, he said that they had not been able to find the source of the issue, but still wanted to fully paid, the extended amount, or I was not getting my card back.
Never again.

Avoid this garage at all costs. We bought a car from them, paid in full (not on finance) to tune of €25k. Nothing but issues since we bought the car. Continuous false promises to fix said issues (when they finally answer the phone), tell us the issues are fixed when they are not. We have lost so much money and days in work from arranging to get the car to the garage to "fix" issues, and back, taxis to work etc. Wish we had read the review before buying the car. Would not recommend this garage to anyone. One positive thing to say is that the girls on reception seem very nice, its just a pity that they have to deal with the guys in service and have to act as the go-between

Called sales and inquired if they are willing to buy my Volvo Xc60 and they said they are and to bring the car for evaluation, since I couldn't download photos in their app ,on 19th may I went there, given evaluation, which below my expectations, and the sales person ( I keep his name) said they can't offer more, ,so I agreed and he said you want to go ahead ,Yes
So great ,he went to his office, came back and told me ,he has to to ring the BOSS, and after few minutes came back and said give me your phone number and I will call you ,today is Thursday and never ring to say they don't want to buy ,or even an apology, mind you I always service my car in Airside garage, Never again

I had my car serviced last week and I had to write this review to compliment a staff member. Cameron checked me in and out! He had such a lovely manner and was so helpful throughout the process. Top marks to him. The whole process was very easy and efficient.

You company is doing everything well. I was at Joe Duffy BMW Finglas for a recall today 14th of May . I was extremely impressed with your staff. Your Macanics are top notch. Not only was my car checked for everything. It was washed and hoovered. And replaced my wipers I could not be more greatfull. Thank you very much.
