Misrepresentation

I've had a cold call from J&G Maintenance claiming to be operating on behalf of my solar installer. I contacted my installer and they confirmed that they had nothing to do with J & G Maintenance.

Edit: I expected this response as identical to other reviews. The company that called me identified themselves as J and G Maintenance, not another company.

Dear Tim,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take any allegation of misrepresentation extremely seriously.

We have been unable to identify you from our customer records or establish that the call you describe was made by J&G Maintenance Ltd.

We are also aware that there is a separate company with a very similar name, J&G Solar Maintenance Ltd, which can understandably cause confusion.

J&G Maintenance Ltd is a maintenance and home-improvement company and is separate from J&G Solar Maintenance Ltd.

We would therefore be grateful if you could provide the telephone number that contacted you, together with the name of the caller, the date/time of the call and any other information you were given identifying the company.

We have already requested further information through the review platform so that we can investigate this properly. If the information confirms that the call did not originate from J&G Maintenance Ltd, we would respectfully ask that this review be removed, as it would have been attributed to the wrong business.

We are more than happy to investigate this fully and respond once the relevant information has been provided.

Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company! As other reviews have said, they ring out of the blue, say they are taking over the support of a defunt company, and will come out and give your system a FREE check. We were talked into buying an additional battery, and paid up front (big mistake). Never arrived to install, one half baked excuse after another. Asked to cancel the contract and get our money back. They said yes, but wanted bank details. No way! how can you trust that? No money yet returned. Starting legal retrieval now

We take all feedback extremely seriously however we have thoroughly checked our customer records and have absolutely no record of this transaction, this installation, or any contact with you whatsoever. We believe this review may have been left for the wrong company. J&G Maintenance Ltd has never taken payment from you, never booked a battery installation with you, and has never been asked by you for a refund. We are a legitimate, professional business registered in England and Wales under Company No. 15206398, based in Wickford, Essex. If you believe you have been mis-sold to or had money taken without services being delivered, we would strongly encourage you to report this to Trading Standards and Action Fraud at actionfraud.police.uk. We are confident Trustpilot's investigation will confirm this review does not relate to our business.

Be aware of this company they seem to be calling based on stolen data

Be aware of this company they seem to have details of the customer base from SolarStyle UK. They call up saying solarstyle have gone bust and that they are taking over the maintenance. Non of this is true I guess there aim is to get someone out to sell you something you don't need. Also according to there website they have been going since 2019 but web address and company house show they were founded the back end of last year

We are not affiliated in any way. We have no record of you as a customer of J&G Maintenance Ltd.
