I initially gave a good review because they literally asked me to do it there and were nice when I bought the vehicle, since then it’s been terrible, we have not been able to register our vehicle because they tricked us and gave us an old logbook knowing that the current one wasn’t available, I have tried to reach them for weeks and they kept saying someone will reach me but nothing only for someone to say I should register for v62, meanwhile we weren’t told that that log book was lost or stolen and there was no log book. I would never have bought the vehicle if I knew there was no logbook !

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on 22 November and was provided with documentation confirming that a timing chain replacement had been completed on 21 November.

On 4 January — approximately six weeks later — the engine management light illuminated while I was travelling in severe winter conditions. After safely stopping the vehicle and switching off the engine, it would not restart.

The AA attended and recorded diagnostic fault codes relating to cylinder misfires and engine timing. The vehicle was recovered to my local Land Rover dealership. Their diagnostics confirmed that the fault relates to the timing chain — the same component reportedly replaced immediately prior to sale. They advised that an engine strip-down is required to determine the precise failure.

The selling dealer declined to take responsibility and directed me to a third-party warranty provider. The warranty company refused to authorise investigative strip-down costs and would not provide a courtesy vehicle unless restrictive time criteria were met.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, liability rests with the selling dealer where a fault arises within the first six months. A warranty does not replace or remove that statutory responsibility.

I reside in a remote area without access to public transport. As a result, I have been unable to attend work and my daughter has missed college. Despite being made fully aware of this, the dealership has provided no practical assistance and communication has been extremely poor. Calls are not returned. Emails go unanswered.

Trading Standards have been involved and a formal 14-day notice has now been issued. Failing resolution within that period, proceedings will be raised through the Scottish Simple Procedure court process.

This matter is now being handled formally.

I purchased the vehicle in good faith and paid in full. It failed within weeks.

Prospective buyers should consider this experience carefully.

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE. SOLD WITH A DODGY DPF (tampered) and then refused to deal. Had to go through solicitors etc and still major issues. If they claim we have not bought from them we can show invoices. BIG FRAUDS

Poor- don’t touch this company with a barge pole!!
After purchasing a BMW on a 14 plate for close to £4000 the car wasn’t anything like described. Driving it home & 10 miles from home the car developed a fault - making the car go into limp mode & stranding me on the motorway whilst I googled possible causes.
On contacting Jagland’s customer service team the next day & for the next two weeks everyday, I was advised the same response- sorry our complaints team are busy we will escalate your complaint.
Due to the cold shoulder treatment-I then sent a recorded letter stating my dissatisfaction & wanting to return the faulty car for a full refund - also met with total silence.
I took the car to an independent garage for evaluation- and the report was shocking to say the least.
Two bald inner tyre walls- I asked the sales guy to replace these on performing an MOT history check- with advisories stating before purchase- they said this had been done. Then another £480 extra to correct the seized break calliper and two front break discs. I also had a diagnostic check performed for lack of power- which I put down to the brake calliper issue- oh no- turbo actuator lever sticking intermittently- so yet more cost to resolve.
This company with my own poor experience & reading others similar experiences with no response when complaining says a lot about this poor/ distrustful rip off outfit.
I hope this review reaches many potential buyers- and hopefully you don’t part with your hard earned cash like I did.
If you want a reliable used car- don’t touch this shoddy outfit of a business- if you could call it a business- more like rogue traders!!!

The car was ready, immaculate and fully charged. No problems and despite the V5 being lost, it was sorted out for me.

Nice and easy way to buy a car. Zack was very helpful from beginning to end. Nothing was too much of a problem. Answered any questions I had. I couldn’t get to view the vehicle so I was sent a video so I could view it at home. There was an issue with the rear bumper that I wasn’t happy with and once again wasn’t a problem, Zack sorted that out. The car was the delivered to me at home. Just perfect. I purchased a vehicle (Jaguar F-Pace NX67DZK) from this dealership that has proven to be both dangerous and unfit for purpose. Despite being sold with a fresh MOT, faults became apparent within 30 minutes of driving the vehicle. A private inspection by a specialist the morning after purchase immediately revealed inherent, safety critical faults that make the car illegal to drive.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I am entitled to a full refund within the first 30 days for a faulty product, yet the management has consistently obstructed this process and refused to return my money. Selling a car in this condition is not just poor service; it’s a matter of public safety. I am now forced to involve Trading Standards and legal counsel. Avoid this dealership at all costs.

AVOID this company!!!! Bought a Van from them and have had non-stop issues with it ever since!!!! Engine failures, all warning lights and NO help from the company at all. I wasn't even given a V5C log book!!!!!! And now have to pay and apply for one via DVLA. Extremely dodgy. AVOID.

They also try to BUY good reviews by offering "warranty" or "roadside recovery" if you leave a good review!!!! Their "warranty" doesn't mean anything - they won't take ownership for any of the problems!!

I’m posting this review to document my experience clearly and factually. I’m reviewing Jagland Empire Ltd because the name “Jagland” appeared in multiple parts of my purchase/dispute journey, which created serious confusion over who was responsible once faults were reported.

1) Why I’m reviewing Jagland Empire Ltd (signage + paperwork + identity confusion)

The location where I attended to pay for and collect the vehicle had “Jagland” signage/banners visible in the forecourt (this is my direct observation from the day).

During the dispute process, the inspection/dispute paperwork I received references “Jagland Empire Ltd” in the commissioning/client details.

Companies House filing history for Mega Car Supermarket Ltd records a company name change involving “Jagland Empire LTD” (certificate issued 02/06/2025), which is relevant to the repeated overlap of names I encountered.

2) Safety issue reported immediately + franchised JLR findings

On the same day as collection, the vehicle displayed a coolant warning and steam/smoke symptoms. On checking, the coolant expansion tank was found empty. For safety, I stopped driving and reported the issue immediately.

The vehicle was later inspected by a franchised Jaguar Land Rover dealership, who produced a written report identifying multiple significant faults, including:

Timing chain-related issues requiring major work, and

A coolant leak requiring repair.

3) Current status

I am seeking a full refund. I will update this review when the matter is fully resolved and my funds are returned.

Evidence available (if Trustpilot requests verification): photos/notes from the sale site showing Jagland signage, the inspection/dispute paperwork referencing Jagland Empire Ltd, advert screenshots, invoice/payment proof, correspondence, and the franchised JLR inspection report.

Please respond there, and please also confirm who is responsible for resolving this matter. I will update this review once it is concluded.

What a horrible experience i had with this lot. I purchased a van from them back in May 2025 to have delivered to me as im up in Scotland. I had to pay even more for delivery than what was advertised and then there was long delays to have it delivered. When it arrived I noticed so many issues and I wanted to send it back and thats where things started to ge very difficult as they didn't want anything to do with it. The radio was completely dead and had to be replaced, there was a major leak coming from the windscreen, the tyres were very old and were starting to crack. One tyre was actually older than the van as it was manufactured in 2014. The drivers seatbelt was not retracting and had to be replaced. There was no bungs installed when a roof rack was removed causing a lot of water in the back. It was covered with the AA to help but even after contacting them to mitigate it got nowhere. Please avoid this lot, im baffled as to how there are some good reviews after the experience I had. I finally fixed all the problems with the van and managed to sell it on with thousands of pounds lost with all the work needed done. Please go elsewhere as this lot shouldn't be in business.
