Hello,
Thank you for your feedback!
Iuvo is a marketplace platform. It provides investors with the opportunity to invest in loans that are already granted by credit companies we partner with.
The credit companies are obligated to pay investors for principal, interest, and buyback. This means that the buyback guarantee is an obligation of the credit company, not iuvo. It activates when a borrower has not fully repaid an installment within a certain number of days (in most cases 60 days).
This means that the risk in P2P investing is with the credit companies and their ability and willingness to fulfill their obligations. When such an event happens, it usually due to force majeure circumstances, like the global pandemic that started in 2020.
When a credit company refuses to fulfill their obligations, iuvo files a lawsuit against it in order to recover invested funds, even though iuvo is not obligated to do that.
Lawsuits take time. We provide updates in a timely manner anytime there is progress in a lawsuit. This information is available on our website's blog for everyone to see, registered or unregistered users.
There can be recovered money, only when the lawsuit has ended. We will continue informing investor on the progress of the lawsuit.
Best regards,
IUVO Team
