Worst company I’ve had experience with.
Avoid. They promise quality workmanship but clearly outsource their jobs to any old bunch of fitters. Terrible work. Already started falling apart.
Edit : Noticed they tried to claim review is fake. I uploaded invoice to prove my custom to trust pilot. If it was fake my review would have been removed. Not only is their work substandard, it appears they are also bare faced liars

Fantastic service and flooring provided by the Islington Flooring Company!
I went the full hog and had new carpets fitted throughout, plus new floorboards in my living room. The team are friendly, professional, efficient - and they really care about the end result (thanks, Stephen, for recommending a more neutral carpet, haha!). The fitters they work with are also super friendly, punctual and professional. I'm so pleased and happy with everything. Absolutely adore my floorboards in particular... they're dark oak, and looking amazing. I'm in danger of turning into a hermit :)

Avoid like the plague - settled court claim
We hired The Flooring Group’s Islington branch to source and install engineered walnut flooring back in July 2017 in two bedrooms for a total cost of £6.5k. The experience can only be described as abysmal!
Here are just some of the issues: installed wrong underlay and placed on-top of the carpet underlay to save time; cut the skirting boards at the incorrect height damaging them to the point they needed replaced; dented the walls; scratched the bed; installed scraped and dented boards; took months to address poor workmanship; ignored and then obfuscated when asked for basic information when a claim was issued; installed two different colours of floorboards from different product runs, factories, and countries leaving obvious different woods in the master bedroom and the smaller bedroom being a different colour than the master; installed different thresholds in the two rooms with some being damaged at point of installation and took over a year to settle the claim.
After sheer exhaustion of dealing with the ‘jokers’ that are the management of this firm I accepted a settlement from them after issuing legal proceedings in the County Court. While I gave up the fight of trying to get the different woods installed ripped up and replaced, I did get c. £900 back after about a year of arguing. The default excuse for poor product and workmanship from this firm is “within industry tolerances”, see the photos of their work, the different wood and thresholds are not within the tolerances expected of a firm that purports to be experts and who say they check wood before installation to make sure it matches to avoid many of the issues we faced.
Avoid these people at all costs!
I note that the company disputes the review. I am happy to share photos and the Country Court claim paperwork and settlement details if required.
It is too bad you can't upload photos and emails in reviews here like you can on Google. They speak more than 1,000 words, which I guess is why Islington Flooring settled before the claim was heard in Court.

The points above are entirely disputed – though the customer cannot deny that an excellent flooring finish was provided by Islington Flooring.
Furthermore, those “two different colours of floorboards” were confirmed by the supplier to be within toleration. In spite of this, we then, on the part of our goodwill and that of the supplier, provided a further batch of wood flooring to replace the part with which the customer was unhappy.
It is disappointing, after providing an excellent flooring finish and even replacing an area within toleration free of charge – to see the customer still complains.
An excellent flooring finish has been provided and all other unaddressed elements of the complaint are false.
