I went to Cliffs of Moher tour, and even thought the weather wasn't great, they did whatever it was in their hands to give us a nice experience, they even asked us if we wanted to stay longer on the cliffs or go back earlier to Dublin
I literally just had the worst vacation experience of my life with the Gravedigger Bus Tour. I bought our tickets for tonight's tour back in August. We are only here on vacation for four full days and had things to do every minute. When we go to get on the bus we are told we aren't on "the list" and had to wait. I produced the receipt, confirmation email from them, and my bank statement showing the charge and was allowed admittance.
Right before the tour is about to start we are told we have to get off the bus because again we aren't on the list. We argue that we bought the tickets in August and the tour company did not dispute that. But we didn't make it in to their spreadsheet somehow and they oversold the bus which became our problem. We have planned every minute of our short trip for months and they totally ruined it for no good reason other than they are poor record keepers. *Then* they say they'll issue a refund in a few days. Wait a minute though I thought I wasn't on their list?! How can the issue a refund if I'm not in the list? I told them I'm not leaving till I'm given cash because I'm either on the list or not. They tried offering us a few other free tours but no way do I trust this company with my money or time again.
We were so looking forward to a Halloween themed adventure on my short Dublin trip and they completely ruined it for us and didn't care. They kept saying "it's not our fault." Well it's certainly not my fault. Please don't trust this dishonest and scammy company with your money or time
Irish Day Tours cancelled our tour this morning without warning. Looking at previous reviews this appears to be a common occurrence. No time to make alternative plans. The fact that this happens so often with this company is a disgrace.
