Really disappointed with my experience…
Really disappointed with my experience with Initial Medical. I signed my agreement back at the end of August and have been waiting over 6 weeks for everything to be sorted.
The person who was originally dealing with my agreement stopped getting back to me, despite me sending numerous emails asking for updates. I've also rang several times and been passed between so many different people, but nothing ever seemed to get sorted.
I finally managed to speak to a really lovely lady on the phone today who explained that my agreement hadn't even been processed in the first place! She was very apologetic, even though none of this was her fault, and offered to get everything sorted for me there and then.
Unfortunately, after everything that's happened, I just didn't want to go ahead with the company anymore.
What's made this even more frustrating is that the clinical waste collection was the last thing I needed to arrange before I could start offering my semi-permanent makeup treatments. I've been waiting all this time thinking things were being sorted when nothing had actually been done.
Such a shame because the lady I spoke to today was genuinely lovely and helpful, but overall it's been a really disappointing experience and a complete waste of time.

Experiencing a six-week delay due to an unprocessed agreement, coupled with unreturned messages and being transferred between multiple team members, falls short of the service standard we aim to provide. It is understandable that this delay halted the start of your semi-permanent makeup services and led to the decision to cancel.
We are glad to know that the team member you spoke with recently was polite and attempted to resolve the matter immediately, though we recognise this could not make up for the previous lack of communication and lost time. To ensure this does not happen again, we are reviewing our internal agreement processing procedures and communication protocols. This feedback is being used to improve our onboarding workflow so that future clients receive prompt updates and seamless setup. We appreciate your honesty and wish you the very best with your new business ventures.

Very straight with his communication which means that there is clarity every time he collects the bins. Always particular about cleanliness too which is a great addition to his list of positives. I’d go as far as saying he’s an asset to Initial.
