Avoid
One word - avoid.
The most bizarre customer service experience!
Called inhaus to explain I had tried to place an order 3 times via my phone last night. To explain it’s not working with any of my cards, received a call back from ‘Daniel’. Daniel then proceeds to tell me they’ve had 11 orders today so doesn’t see how that’s possible. Doesn’t let me get a word in edgeways proceeds to manspalin his way through the conversation and constantly talks over me without actually trying to listen. I explained to him I haven’t tried it yet on my laptop but would when I get home, he admitted to not having a clue over the workings of the website.
Anyway, I tolerated his constant talking over me for approx 13 minutes until I explained to him I’d had enough and was just trying to give them £700 and some feedback about the website not working, he then proceeded to talk over me again, so I hung up after all no one needs to tolerate disrespect.
I then had a call back from the same phone number I’d just been speaking to him on - I didn’t answer.
Then a random phone number calls me… it’s Daniel.
I immediately explained to him I wasn’t interested in having some exhaustive combative conversation anymore and I was busy and didn’t have anymore time to give this situation, he then proceeded to raise his voice at me and say that I should listen to him, he proceeds to mansplain and I interrupted him and said please don’t tell me how I feel, he then continued his bizarre rant at me so I hung up. Again no one should tolerate disrespect especially when you’re communicating clearly to the other person you’re feel uncomfortable and not listened to.
He then calls me again, shouting down the phone at me. I hung up.
He calls again, I say “ why are you being so psycho towards me and keep calling me” he proceeds to shout so I hang up!
He calls again, I answer he is still shouting, I hang up, he calls again…
It’s totally ridiculous behaviour from someone I don’t know, who I literally called to hand over £700 to, to then be repeatedly called in a threatening and abusive way, having made me my self clear and my feelings of the situation.
Daniel clearly has anger issues it’s not normal to be calling a ANYONE repeatedly in an aggressive manner…
Seemingly not one shred of awareness of how he was coming across to me and how that behaviour was aggressive and unsettling and ultimately unacceptable.
Shocking experience from a luxury brand and I certainly won’t be buying anything from in future if this is how you deal with customers who literally want to GIVE YOU MONEY.
Daniel, calm down dear. Have a cup of tea and take a chill pill, and maybe get your boss to put you on a customer service training course. Blimey, all I wanted was a metal artwork.
