One word - avoid.
The most bizarre customer service experience!
Called inhaus to explain I had tried to place an order 3 times via my phone last night. To explain it’s not working with any of my cards, received a call back from ‘Daniel’. Daniel then proceeds to tell me they’ve had 11 orders today so doesn’t see how that’s possible. Doesn’t let me get a word in edgeways proceeds to manspalin his way through the conversation and constantly talks over me without actually trying to listen. I explained to him I haven’t tried it yet on my laptop but would when I get home, he admitted to not having a clue over the workings of the website.

Anyway, I tolerated his constant talking over me for approx 13 minutes until I explained to him I’d had enough and was just trying to give them £700 and some feedback about the website not working, he then proceeded to talk over me again, so I hung up after all no one needs to tolerate disrespect.

I then had a call back from the same phone number I’d just been speaking to him on - I didn’t answer.

Then a random phone number calls me… it’s Daniel.

I immediately explained to him I wasn’t interested in having some exhaustive combative conversation anymore and I was busy and didn’t have anymore time to give this situation, he then proceeded to raise his voice at me and say that I should listen to him, he proceeds to mansplain and I interrupted him and said please don’t tell me how I feel, he then continued his bizarre rant at me so I hung up. Again no one should tolerate disrespect especially when you’re communicating clearly to the other person you’re feel uncomfortable and not listened to.

He then calls me again, shouting down the phone at me. I hung up.

He calls again, I say “ why are you being so psycho towards me and keep calling me” he proceeds to shout so I hang up!

He calls again, I answer he is still shouting, I hang up, he calls again…

It’s totally ridiculous behaviour from someone I don’t know, who I literally called to hand over £700 to, to then be repeatedly called in a threatening and abusive way, having made me my self clear and my feelings of the situation.

Daniel clearly has anger issues it’s not normal to be calling a ANYONE repeatedly in an aggressive manner…
Seemingly not one shred of awareness of how he was coming across to me and how that behaviour was aggressive and unsettling and ultimately unacceptable.

Shocking experience from a luxury brand and I certainly won’t be buying anything from in future if this is how you deal with customers who literally want to GIVE YOU MONEY.

Daniel, calm down dear. Have a cup of tea and take a chill pill, and maybe get your boss to put you on a customer service training course. Blimey, all I wanted was a metal artwork.

You posted this same fake review on Google Reviews that has been removed as against Google Reviews policy.

You called us approx 1 week ago stating that you wanted to purchase a piece of art work but couldn't check out and pay.

We checked our checkout page and confirmed is was working fine and also confirmed that we had 11 online orders in the morning that day with genuine customers. You then erupted into a rant and rave asking why we have +44 before our landline number on our website. We explained that we have new customers worldwide that are offered to call us and by presenting the international telephone code for the UK assisted people outside the UK to make enquiries for the luxury products offered to provide customers outside the UK with worldwide shipping costs. You then proceeded with an obnoxious tone to dictate how we should present our telephone number that isn't any of your business.

You were also clearly under the influence of alcohol or worse to proceed to dictate how we should run our company.

Whilst on your call, you had a separate conversion with a person you described as knocking on your door offering some type of home improvement service that you said was a gypsy. You then starting screaming and swearing at this person that was apparently a completely stranger calling him a misogynist.

Your review is conceited and untrue, you are not a customer, you are a member of the public causing trouble for no reason!

We have passed your fake review to our legal team in view of taking legal against you for defamation.

AVOID!

Purchased over £1300 lights back in January, and was given a estimated time bracket. My wife called Daniel up for an update as the lights were delayed and he spoke back very aggressively and rudely stating that he “cannot put a gun to the manufacturers head”. He is a so called ceo of the company but i really do think the owners need to step in, as Daniels atitude towards customers is appalling.

I then gave him a call to see why he had disrespected my wife and his answers back were worser than before. I stated to him at the time that i do not wish to deal with his company and i simply want my money back. At time he stated as the lights are manufactured to order they can not be refunded. I decided to wait further. 3 months after waiting I emailed for an update and they responded back stating that they no longer want to sell me the lights, and they will be issuing me a refund (despite me asking for a refund 1 month prior). I was promised a refund on first week of May, and then they asked for a further 10 days as i paid from a credit card. Till today I have not received my refund and it has been over 4 months since i initially placed the order.

It is a very unfortunate scenario as rest of the staff are great. Unfortunately they cannot do anything as they have to go back to Daniel for updates. Daniel clearly has mental issues and does not hold any respect for women.

I spoke to castro lighting direct and they suggested to me that there was only a 1 week delay and the lights should not have taken this long.

I would suggest anyone trying to buy off these guys think twice as they take your money and don’t deliver. They then take months to issue you a refund.

Your review and comments are completely false and erroneous.

Your wife made an order for 2 x wall lights that were hand made to order as she was completely aware. Mrs Aurengzeb then called requesting a delivery update, when we confirmed that the delivery was going to be 1-2 weeks late due to international shipping she became extremely rude using extreme profanity creating argument.

You then called approx 1 hour later as you are fully aware screaming and shouting making 'Serious Threats of Violence' towards our employees.
We had no other alternative and called the police that issued
Crime Reference Number: 45260030647

The police advised us to cancel your order as believed our delivery team could also be under the threat of serious violence.

Your fake review has not even mentioned the fact that your order had to be cancelled due to your extreme threats of violence where a full refund has been issued and sent to your bank account.

In addition, you have been bullying and scaring our employees with vile and obnoxious e.mails using inappropriate verbal insults.

This is a police matter, we are in communication with the police regarding your arrest for serious threats of violence and bullying behaviour.
