Here is how we are paid, because it is the first thing people ask: carriers pay us a commission, so our help costs you nothing. Your premium is set by the carrier and is the same whether you enroll through us, directly with the company, or on the Marketplace. We do not charge fees. Because we are independent, we are not steering you toward one company's plan. On a typical call we ask what you actually need, confirm your doctors and prescriptions are covered before you enroll, walk through the real tradeoffs between plans, and handle the paperwork. was never told my same insurance went up in cost. and while adding eye and dental, auto pay, somehow dropped my health. 3 months and no communication until dr appt told me you don't have any insurance. then after a 3 way call, all payments made, went back to rescheduled appt and was told same thing. had to 3 way call again to keep appt...

As with any industry with monthly rates, during renewal periods, premiums may increase. Your insurance company sent notification of your renewal rate change on Oct. 24th 2024 providing 2 months opportunity to review any proposed increases for 2025. We are not notified by the carrier and rely on your active attention to correspondence from your insurance company in order to help assess what your best options are. Your insurance carrier proceeded to send out additional notifications on 1/1, 2/1, and 3/1 regarding past due payments.
The moment you informed our team that there was an issue with your coverage, we immediately facilitated communication with your carrier to help reactivate your benefits. Processing payments on the carrier’s side and updating account records can take a few days in which we have no control over. When you were informed by your provider’s office within the 3 day window of making payment that your policy status was still showing pending, we again immediately facilitated communications to provide your doctor with the necessary information to proceed with appointments under the active plan.
Let me also address that our team helped you save money and make changes to your stand alone dental and vision coverage by providing low cost premium options compared to the previous plans you held. The actions taken to switch your dental and vision benefits had no effect on your medical coverage as your plans are with completely separate insurance companies.
It is unfortunate that you felt our company deserved this 1 star review after the last few years of service. We recommend setting up a member portal with your insurance company, if you have not done so already, to keep up to date on your account information and avoid any future delay in notifications.
