Ibiza Rocks Hotel Arvostelua 10

I never imagined having to write something like this.

My brother’s friend tragically died after falling from a balcony during a stay at this hotel in Ibiza. But what’s worse is how this horrific event was handled by the hotel and its staff- with absolutely no care, urgency, or basic human decency.

It took over 30 minutes for an ambulance to arrive. In that critical time, hotel security refused to let anyone near him and gave his friends contradictory information about his condition. They were left helpless, desperate, and completely in the dark.

Shockingly, within 90 minutes of his body being taken away, the hotel resumed loud music and partying right where the accident happened. No privacy. No respect. No pause for grief. Just business as usual. As if a young man’s life hadn’t just been lost in front of his friends eyes.

What makes this even more horrifying is that we’ve now learned this wasn’t an isolated tragedy. Just two weeks after, another young man died in the exact same way — falling from a balcony at the very same hotel.

This is not just heartbreaking it’s terrifying! A pattern like this points to serious failings in safety, oversight, and basic responsibility. How many lives have to be lost before something changes?

If you’re thinking of staying here, don’t. No one should lose their life while on holiday. And no family or group of friends should ever have to endure the trauma and cold-hearted treatment that’s being experienced.

Avoid this place at all costs.

I’ve had to leave a one-star rating in order to post this review, but in truth, this hotel deserves zero stars. The rating is purely so I can warn others. In my opinion the place needs to be shut down!

Just back from this fantastic hotel, april25, I had some reviews but wow the staff go way out of their way, above and beyond Carlos the life guard never seen anyone so helpful what ever they pay him they should double. The hotel is noisy, but full of youngsters what do you expect. Beer 4.50 euros not bad, chill out pool area, spot on. 5* from me.

I've booked up for our next Ibiza trip on 18th of May and I've been dealing with Lisa via emails, she's a godsend for the company!

We changed amount of guests and we've changed room's without a single bit of bother.

Any questions I've had she's also helped with straight away.

Highly recommend IbizaRocks if you're looking for a good place to stay in Ibiza right in the heart of it all!

What a shame our trip turned into. This is the 3rd time I have stayed at this hotel and I can never fault it we have the best time. Our last day we didn’t want to come home and enquired about booking an extra night, we were advised to check out and come back before our transfer arrives, to which we did. Management is SHOCKING. We were advised that someone would never do that and there’s nothing she can do as there reservations were now closed if we wanted longer we should have asked this morning. I’m not one to complain but when you do exactly what you were advised to do and get treated that way is just a joke. We then missed are transfer adding an extra €50 euros onto our trip and didn’t even get an apology. If your booking here make sure you have no reason to have to speak with management because they are useless and is the only this that ruins this hotel.

First night out in Ibiza Rocks - we love the reviews online even though there was some negatives. On the 1st night on my birthday, my brother went to the toilet by himself and he got surrounded by 4 bouncers by himself, who bullied him into needing to leave the place as they thought he was too drunk. He literally could stand up fine and chat to them. I came along and showed that he wasn’t even drunk. If I hadn’t been there, he would have been kicked out! Bully tactics by horrible bouncers. Manager came up to us supporting the bouncers, saying they didn’t do anything wrong and that they didn’t touch him. BUT…four bouncers around one isn’t acceptable. We hope the 2nd night will be better with Craig David on Tuesday.

I think this is one of the Best places we have stayed abroad it was crazy but in a fun way! Was not expecting this at all, they also have a lot to keep you entertained and it’s in a good places where it’s all walking distance

Attended the Craig David party, had an absolute blast as we were a big group of girls but the security staff are obnoxious and arrogant grabbing drinks off us at the end of opened the toilet door to say we needed to be quicker on the toilet

My friend and I stayed here for 2 nights on July 25th to 27th (whom the booking was under). We booked last minute and paid circa €250 euro a night. Considering how much we're paying to stay in the place, the staff were incredibly short, rude and unwelcoming at reception. We arrived at 1.30pm and were told check-in was not till 4pm!!! Normal check-in time is 3pm at all hotels. Their check-out is 11am and i saw the cleaners go straight into our room after we checked out, so they DO NOT need 5 hours, to get a room ready. I said to the staff at the reception desk nicely, that we were very tired from travelling and needed to put our feet up, but they abruptly said to me, that check-in was at 4pm no no earlier and refursed to tell us what room was we were staying in. The room was spacious but very basic and incredibly noisy during the day, there was no way you were getting any rest of any description between the hours of 11am and 11pm every day.

We paid for breakfast inadvance which was 15 euro per day but when i went down the first morning at 1030 to get said breakfast buffet, i was accused by the staff that i hadn't paid for breakfast and was trying to get it for free!!! When i told the manager directly that i had indeed paid for breakfast with my room, he looked at my like i was lieing. 250 euros a night, to be looked at like you're a thief in the morning? Also the security are overzealous and look at you with disdain when you walk into the property. Forget about having anyone back to your room, can't bring anyone into the hotel in they're not staying.
I frankly couldn't wait to leave and the 2 days went very slowly indeed. Stay there if you're 21 and like getting ripped off, other than that a major disappointment.

Good hotel, but food was average

we bought tickets for a pool party here last week, the tickets shared between 2 people cost nearly £170 - just for the bed ( with no towels, cushions or even a head rest). security were incredibly rude. unless you paid for an even more expensive bed you were treated like scum and kicked out of the pool early. (which by the way- you have to QUEUE to get into). stick to ocean beach for an event if you go to ibiza. this place is tacky and not at all worth it. we felt as though we were back in school following silly rules, and being given dirty looks if you weren’t VIP
