The Club membership has been amazing
We originally joined the Club at Iberostar Grand Bavaro in February 2022. We came here as non-members, not knowing anything about the Club. We had a fantastic time at the resort, enjoying the beach, the food, the drinks, the entertainment, and the location. We thought this was a place we would like to come back to. We attended the presentation and have enjoyed the benefits of being a member of the Club. In 24 months since joining the Club, we have made 13 trips to 6 different Iberostar resorts, enjoying the club's benefits. This has allowed us to have unforgettable vacations with our friends and family. We have created family memories that will last for generations, and you can’t even put a price tag on them.
I will be honest. Initially, I didn’t know what the membership would provide besides discounts. Wow, it's so much more. I knew I made the right decision on my first trip as a club member. We loved the resorts before being members, but I’ve had a much better experience as a member. It’s being treated like your family. The staff knows you by name right away, even to resorts that we have just been to once. They go out of their way to ensure you are having a fantastic time and keep checking up to ensure you are happy.
The Club has many different levels, denoted by color. We joined at the Black level, which was more geared to our choice of Adults-Only All-Inclusive resorts. We could also go to the family-friendly ones, but we wanted to stay mainly at the Grands (Now called JOIA). Since joining, we have been so happy that we upgraded to the Double-Black level and recently to the highest tier, Rose Gold. We have had no regrets about either upgrade. We have already saved more in what we received as Club members than we paid for the initial membership plus the two upgrades. I keep an Excel sheet of all my trips, denoting the savings that we get as club members, and this has been a great payback. Now, here is the best: our children can use our membership as our beneficiaries and get all the benefits of the club themselves. We have already broken even and have another 27 years ahead of us to save even more.
When you are a member, you get access to Star Prestige. It's more than just being taken good care of; it's improving the quality of your vacation. It’s ensuring the little things are taken care of, sometimes even before you get to the resort. Ensure that your transportation to/from the hotel is done, have your daily massages scheduled before you arrive, have dinner reservations when and where you want, sit in the private beach area, and have dedicated staff to adhere to your needs. Star Prestige is the Club, and they make a good vacation great. In addition, we have made some wonderful friends through the club and now go on vacation with them.
We are so happy to be members of the Club and how we have been treated as Members. Given the option to do it again or not, I wouldn’t hesitate to make the same decisions again and join the Club.
