Order cancelled without valid reason – refund received
I placed an order with HypedKicks on 16 October 2025 for a pair of Ugg Lowmel Sand shoes. The order was confirmed, payment was accepted, and confirmation was received immediately.
Four days later, the order was cancelled, initially due to a “pricing error.” Over the following days, this explanation changed several times — first to a “technical issue,” then to a “duplicate order,” and finally to a “shipping fee miscalculation.” None of these explanations constitute a valid legal reason to cancel a confirmed and paid order. From a customer perspective, these shifting explanations were confusing and did not inspire confidence.
On the positive side, the refund was processed promptly once initiated, and HypedKicks did respond quickly to messages throughout — including offering contact through WhatsApp. I chose to keep all communication in writing for documentation purposes. It’s worth noting that they were responsive, which distinguishes them from many online sellers who can be hard to reach.
The payment was refunded in full, and I now consider the matter closed.

At that point, we also discovered an error regarding the shipping fees — shipping to Denmark is unfortunately quite expensive, and the system didn’t apply those costs correctly. We reached out via email to explain the situation and refunded your payment immediately, so you didn’t incur any loss.

Goede communicatie bij probleem
Ik had schoenen besteld en kort daarna kreeg ik een bericht van het bedrijf dat er vertraging was bij de verzending. Jammer natuurlijk, maar ik waardeer het dat ze me daar meteen van op de hoogte brachten. De klantenservice heeft me direct geholpen en was vriendelijk en duidelijk. Fijn om te zien dat ze goed communiceren en betrokken zijn!
