The speed of protolabs network is great and it really helps our prototyping work. One thing that could be improved is consistency across your network. We had 2 parts made out of same material that were clearly machined in 2 different places. The material was very different.

Had a complaint based on a part ordered.
The representative just answered with reference to the tolerance and didn't answer the questions that I asked regarding the issues with the part and possible issues with the orientation.
Won't be using again.

Parts were received out of tolerance on 3/16, and I notified my sales representative immediately. It has now been over a week and a half, and I am still waiting for a resolution. At this point, production is at a complete standstill.

I have made multiple phone calls without receiving a single callback and have sent 16 follow-up emails with no solution provided. This level of communication and support is extremely concerning.

my completion date was bumped twice. missed my delivery window.
parts finally arrived and are of decent quality.
pricing was good, but we need firm completion dates and will not use the system again. seems paying for expedited services doesn't mean you will get parts as promised

The team helping did a great job in recommending some options to help get the parts to my company quickly as well as the cost difference being neutral

Comprehensible ordering. Clear acceptance criteria on the website. Reasonable delivery times. Fair prices. No husstle.

Fair pricing and quality of parts are at about 90% have had a few problems and have realized that when I have a part that comes out perfectly I need to request that same manufacturer, as I just received a part that came from a different manufacturer from where originally I had made and quality suffered.

Excellent communication, quality was absolutely top notch and delivery right on time.

The finish was precise and clean. Delivery was sooner than expected which made it possible for anticipate use.

I've used the protolabs network a few times (from back when it was called Hubs). I've produced small batch parts with relatively high quality and to an above satisfactory standard.

My most recent experience has been absolutely appalling. I ordered a larger batch of parts (and also my most expensive). The parts were delivered and we discovered that they weren't to spec. I filed a complaint and the service team acknowledged and agreed with my concerns.

They then asked for the parts to be returned and I agreed, only to have no further instructions. It's been a few weeks and I have a vague email reply once a week, but no progress.

If you have a production that is high priority and want a sense of security when things go wrong, I would not reccomend Protolabs network
