HSL Chairs - Plymouth Arvostelua

Overall experience was excellent, knowledgeable staff were helpful and made choosing the suitable chair for me easier. The delivery service was very good setting up the chair and explaining the controls, all I need to do now is relax and enjoy using the chair.

My new HSL chair arrived this morning and Ashley & Cameron were professional and helpful explaining everything to me and moving my chair into place.

Right product. Prompt friendly helpful service

We had previously bought some chairs from HSL and decided to look into replacing the chairs and adding a sofa. On our initial visit to the HSL showroom we were greeted warmly and were offered a drink and a cookie whilst a member of staff, Sue, showed us around so that we could try out the chairs. On our second visit Sue discussed our needs and budget before placing our order. We didn't feel pressured into buying and all of the staff were friendly and gave us as much time as we needed. We are looking forward to receiving the new furniture. We would thoroughly recommend going to this company when considering buying quality furniture.

HSL Plymouth offers a first-class service that is tailored to each customer's specific needs and desires, surpassing the standards of many care providers in Plymouth.

The whole process from showroom to our front room was excellent. Great staff in the HSL shop in Plympton who really knew the poducts and could offer sound advise on all aspects of the chair we purchased. The chair is of top quality manufacture and very pleasing to look at and sit on! Delivery was to our convenience and the two gentlemen who delivered the chair were very good at their job and very helpful. All in all a very good service. We will recommend HSL to our friends and family.

Having someone coming to the house, very professional and friendly, I was able to make a purchase knowing all the details given.

Home visit with chairs to try was very helpful . Helen answered all our questions and was very pleasant and informative .

Very friendly staff, who obviously knew what they were doing

The sales lady was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining all the different options available and made the experience of choosing the right chair more enjoyable

Excellent customer service from start to finish. How all companies should treat their customers.

I could not fault the service provided. The sales assistant was lovely and nothing was too much trouble to ensure that mum had the correct chair for her needs. This lady is a credit to your company, friendly helpful and always included mum into the conversation we were having.

A well presented sales experience a joy to be served by a knowledgeable and experienced sales person.

Very nice friendly approach from the lady who visited mum. No pressure, special offer at the time. A good experience and left the chair on the day.

We were met and served by Helen an excellent lady. Helen was extremely polite, on top of job, and knew her product throughout. A great credit to this well established company.

Pleasant people and had patience to sketch sale.

Company has been very helpful about ordering a new 3 piece settee and chair. Staff are brilliant.

Excellent advice and no pressure from delightful salesman. He even provided knitting to ensure I would be comfortable doing it in chair !

Excellent service! Highly recommended!

Two facts that might seem a bit random:
(1) I'm not a great fan of pantomimes, and the last one I think I saw, featured Frankie Howerd, who died way back in 1992!
(2) My late mum bought me a lovely all-singing, all-dancing recliner chair which is still going strong after many years' service.
But, working on the familiar old adage, 'You can't take it with you', I decided to buy a new chair, and move the existing one to a different location.
The original one came from a local independent dealer 100 yards or so from where I live, but, having recently had some more dealings with them, they were now definitely not on my go-to list. There are plenty of large outlets to get one from, but for something that I like to enjoy in the evening, I wanted to find somewhere where not only would the goods be high-quality and very well-made, both as a comfortable chair per se, but also mechanically, and electronically, to shift a not inconsiderate weight around without showing any sign of strain.
After more research, and finally scrutinising Trustpilot reviews, HSL seemed like an excellent option, and they was also a branch just a few miles away.
So, having taken a couple of pictures on my phone, and armed with some useful dimensions, I made my way to the HSL store in Plympton, where there was ample, and easy free parking.
I parked up, and made my way into the store, where I was immediately greeted by Cheryl at the desk, who introduced me to Sue, who was the manager, and would be looking after me that afternoon.
Now, from this point onwards, we all seemed to hit it off to perfection, and process of selecting the right kind of chair, a suitable, and serviceable colour and fabric, and, most importantly, sufficient electronics to take the load off my feet, literally, and this as soon as I sat down in it.
Now, came the 'pantomime' bit! We all had sucha great time with banter, and telling a few jokes, that the overall experience became not only as much fun as the one, I think, pantomime I'd ever been to, but probably even more so!
There were lovely littly touches: no sooner had I entered the store, than I was plied with a lovely cup of tea, and posh biscuits - a full tin of which I was given when I left! Despite the lovely light-hearted nature of the choice of chair, there was never pressure to buy this one, or that one, or add on ten or so extra options, in case a stray Iranian missile might have landed close by, or the dog or cat I 'have', might have peed over the remote (even though I don't have any pets anymore, and won't be!).
Now for all the pantomime spirits, Sue was 100% professional throughout, as was Cheryl, too, and the shop wasn't busy when I called by, so no one had to wait around.
The documentation was all very clear, and nicely presented in its hardback enveloped, which proudly bore the 'Handmade in Yorkshire' logo, and the Union Jack!
So, to date, I am delighted with the service I received from Sue and Cheryl at the Plympton Store, and am looking forward to it being delivered and installed over the coming weeks.
I will return to this review, when I hear that the chair is in transit, and that a delivery date is forthcoming, and then give my first impressions of my brand-new HSL Electric Recliner. If Part 2 is anywhere near as good as Part 2, then I think the hardest thing by far, will be to avoid falling asleep, as soon as I'm nicely ensconced in it!
