HSL Chairs - Orpington Arvostelua 

No waffle just full explanations. Very helpful and very patient because it’s important to get furniture just right. Plus the coffee and biscuits are always a very welcome gesture.

Really comfortable products. Showroom staff in your Orpington office were really friendly and knowledgable about the products. We were given plenty of time to make a decision and no-one pressured us in any way. the visit to your showroom was a thoroughly pleasant experience.

I went in the Orpington store to look at recliners and can’t fault the assistance and helpfulness from the colleagues in this store. They were knowledgeable about the product, materials and also took the time to sit down with us and thoroughly explain options, timing and costs.

Review for HSL Furniture, Orpington. I went into the Orpington store and was seen by Ros who was very helpful. I tested various mattresses as I couldn't return if I wasn't happy. Eventually, I chose the Gold mattress and base. I paid £2,130 for the bed and mattress. 8th of April 2026, bed was delivered and installed. July 2026, I phoned HSL and spoke to Ros as my mattress had collapsed. 10th of July 2026, Omera Group came out and inspected the mattress. The guy came and he was very thorough, took measurements and photos. He told me that HSL would be in touch to change the mattress as it was faulty. 13th of July 2026, I spoke to Jordan at HSL Customer Services. He checked on the system and apologised that they should have contacted me by now. He said it will be four to six weeks for a replacement mattress. I said, could I change the mattress type as I wanted a slightly firmer mattress? He said, no problem, go to the shop and let him know what type I wanted. I chose the new mattress and he said that no problem, he would work out the extra cost. He came back with an extra price of £700. I explained that I'm on benefits and could not afford it. And asked if that was the best price. He said that he has applied all the discounts and that was the best price. I said that I felt I should not have to pay for the upgrade as I paid a lot of money for the bed and the mattress had collapsed in a few months. I explained that I went to HSL as I thought I would be getting a premium bed and excellent customer services. How wrong was I? I said to him, can you look at the price? And he basically told me that that was the best price. I said I would need to think about it and I would come back to him. I rang him back the next day and I told him that my solicitor had told me to get my money back as the product was not fit for purpose. He then offered me £100 off, but I said no, just arrange for the bed to be collected. I then ordered a new bed from VTB Mobility, and that was fitted and installed the following week. When the guys collected the bed, they couldn't understand the timescale as the mattress was in stock.

Visit to the showroom and service from all the staff who were very helpful and knowledgeable on our 3 visits to the store. Jonathan was our main consultant but other members of staff were equally good.

Yesterday I took my 90 year old mother into your Orpington store and spent an hour with Ros picking the right chair and fabric for her. The whole team were kind and patient and made her feel listened to. We had a budget and they didn’t try to upsell. We can’t wait to get the chair…

Terri was really helpful and patient with my elderly parents. There was no rushing or pushy sales talk. She answered all our questions and then stepped away to allow us time to talk about the choices.
All the staff were lovely and I would highly recommend the chairs. My father is 6 foot 4 tall and the chair they showed him was a perfect fit.
